Can't download :(

I can't download episode 5 from Ipad. Is there anybody like me? What can be the problem ? :(

    I am not Telltale staff and i am unable to help with this technical issue so i moved this to the support forum where a Telltale support staff member will hopefully be able to assist you further.

    If you are still currently unable to download Episode 5 of Game of Thrones on iOS, can you please clarify:

    1) What device you are on.
    2) What iOS version you are currently updated to.
    3) What version number the 'Game of Thrones' app is updated to. (Version 1.6 is the latest)

  • I cannot download either but for episode three. I am on iPhone 6 version 8.4. I just downloaded this game yesterday so I'm guessing it is the latest version.

    Could you please clarify if you are able to start getting a percentage before the download fails, or do you immediately get a 'Failed to download' message?

  • Hi Mike, thanks for getting back to me. My iOS is up to date (8.4) and I updated the telltale got app as well. I'm on an iPad 2. I attempted to download, it looked as if it was 100% successful. However, it when I go to launch it states 'partially download'. I then have the option to resume download. I then get the error message, 'content failed to download'. Any help would be appreciated, I need to see a healthier Rodrick, asap. Thanks, Mike!

    Please note that as stated in the app's description in the Description section of the App Store:

    NOTE: Recommended for iPhone 5 and up, and iPad 3 and up - also requires iOS 7 and up

    The iPad 2 is not an officially recommended device to play the game application on, but you may be able to resolve your issue by closing the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7/8, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.

    Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to successfully download Episode 5 on your iPad 2.
