This is amazing, Paul. You pay attention to so many details that just fly over everyone's head on a first playthrough. I admit I never thought of some of these things the way you put it but it does make a lot of sense. Like the part where Rhys' version of her reaction to his scream is different from hers. I played it, I heard it, but it never hit me it was really any different.
This is great and I'm sure it's going to revive the hope of anyone who reads the whole thing from beggining to end.

The scene where you have the option to tell Fiona and Sasha the truth is one of my least favorite. They're so many problems with it. Firstly, it's annoying that the player has no choice but to keep HJ secret from them, when you can tell Vaughn. Now I know that Vaughn is a bro so it's a lot easier to trust him with a secret like this, however you can almost tell Athena the truth. Of course Jack slaps you, stopping you from actually telling and I know that this scene was designed to be humorous, but the option to almost tell the truth to someone who would certainly kill you and not one for your friends is just stupid. Another problem I have with this scene is how Fiona and Sasha react to you telling them the truth. I understand that they would feel a bit offended that you didn't confide in them earlier, but Rhys actually has extremely good reason to withhold this information from them. Like, for instance, the fact that initially they were trying to con you out of millions of dollars. The only reason they even started working with you in the first place is because you had a way to track the money. After the money is lost, however, they work with you to open a vault. All of these actions have been guided by greed, so wouldn't it make sense that you keep the extremely valuable AI stuck in your head a secret? I'm not saying that they aren't actually friends and that Rhys is being manipulated, but Fiona and Sasha really have nothing to lose. What's stopping them from getting to the vault then selling Rhys out for a bonus? I wish that I could of brought up these points when I was being accused. The last major issue that I have with this is the fact that one of the most strong reactions +/-, in regards to Fiona and Sasha, is caused by something that the player has had no say in. Sure you get to tell them, but the drama is artificial because you didn't have a say the timing of it. In conclusion, Fuck you Telltale.
