To me, it seems that Emily feels she has to prove herself because of her high intelligence. Jessica is obviously hot, but she is really insecure about herself as she reveals to Mike, similarly I think Emily is under-confident because she feels unattractive (maybe cuz her relationship with Mike went bad? Then afterwards it's because she cheated on Matt with him)
I really like Matt cuz he's a nice and respectable guy, but not that much of a pushover either. Still, if Emily is that bad on the radio tower, bitch is gonna die
Like I said, I have no respect or love for people who cheat, they deserve everything that is coming to them...

In the playthrough I w… moreatched, Emily insulted Matt all the time, and he seemed like a decent guy. Even when he's trying to save her life on the fire tower, she's having a go at him. -_-' Poor guy. I seriously can't see what he saw in her. I thought she'd be the first to die, so I was pretty surprised that she handled herself well in the mines. Until that point I didn't care much if she died (similar with Jess, I wasn't bothered at first but then I felt pretty bad for her). Yeah, I wasn't impressed with Emily and Mike cheating on their partners, there's never an excuse for that.
