My Dad... He is a bully sometimes, and a comedian other times. He's old-fashioned for sure, and the guy just can't take a good joke or any kind of criticism. Plus he HATES that I'm a lot closer to my Mom than I am to him.
Sorry Dad but if you actually made a conscious attempt to be my Dad rather than a shadow of one, then we could be closer. He's not that interesting, and I'm prepared for the day I move out:
When I do I know he and my Mom will split, she wants to split from him right now tbh, but when I'm gone she will feel better about it. I can see us drifting apart in the future too...
I will not be like him when I have kids. I will be everything they need me to be and more! Same as a husband, I can easily do a better job than him at it :P
He is confident though, so I admire him for that, and definitely not stupid either. But he has so few outlets in life!

Minus the dad part. I'm actually a lot like my dad (he's not stereotypical "manly man") he's sensitive an… mored kind and he likes art and literature and so on. But my mother is the exact opposite of me. She's tough and doesn't really care about art and you know the drill. I love her but sometimes it feels like she doesn't understand me at all. But as you said, yes we bicker and I always feel bad afterwards too.
I've got to work on a fanfic then I'll proably sleep, I dreamt of Rhysha last night and all I need is a Rhyiona dream, is that too hard to ask for? ;-;
