  • And it is a must if you're a Bigby Wolf and Snow White fan (and ship their romance all the way) like me. :)

    Great minds think alike :D

Except I also write fanfiction of them both... ;)

I second what Hazza said. The game only gives you a (tiny bit of) taste of the Fables' grand and rich universe and mythology, that you can

    Haha, true.....

Still waiting on my Fairest Volume 5 TPB (Clamour for Glamour), which is 25th August, I believe (I have it on pre-order).

By the way Hazza, when are you getting your "Volume 22 : Farewell" ??

I'm curious to see your review (and I do wish more people would post their reviews on the thread. I'm sure a lot of forum members have read it already and are just not commenting...I'm interested to know their thoughts as well...)

  • Same here dude, mine also comes on August 25th >:( I mean come on! Fairest ended back in February, whats the hold up for?!

I should be getting it tomorrow (fingers crossed) I'm excited! XD

I'll post my thoughts, definitely! Last ever Volume of fables, it deserves the Hazza stamp of approval/disapproval :P I mean, I already know the majority of what happens, but seeing how they handle everything with my own eyes is best.

  • I think besides Walking Dead S1 it's the best work Telltale has done. The first episode of TWAU is the best single episode Telltale has had in any of their games ever.

  • I like both, but I do believe that Game of Thrones is one of Telltale's weaker games. Not bad, just weak compared to Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead.

  • I loved playing on TWAU. I loved the puzzle solving and it was a hard decision at the end of game on whether to keep crooked man alive or kill him, would love season two to come out.

  • GoT is pretty terrible (probably the weakest game of Telltale in recent years) and TWAU is one of the best games I have ever played so yes pick it up!

  • Why is GOT terrible? I rate it higher than TWD!

  • A Nest of Vipers is probably the reason.

  • Huh... Ok.

  • Don't listen to them. Nest Of Vipers was the best episode even better than episode 4.

In my personal opinion, Wolf Among Us is so much more appealing to look at aesthetic and art style wise than Game of Thrones which just looks ugly and drab in comparison.

  • That choice dude... :'(

  • GOT does have an interesting 'oil-painting' art style to it, but I don't think it's THAT terrible :P

  • It's just too muddy and bland for me as it feels like the characters are all covered in splotch or something.

  • In terms of accessibility, The Wolf Among Us is the superior. Out of all of the recent Telltale Games, it does such an amazing job to introduce newcomers to a whole new setting and managed to capture the interest for a lot of people. And it is definitely the most gorgeous looking.

As for who is better, I like to see them as equals. I don't like playing favorites.

  • I'd choose TWAU if I were you. I stopped keeping track on GOT after episode 2 came out, I might as well check out the rest of the episodes to see what's everyone blabbing about.

  • Disagree

I have been reading them online and they become quite shitty after some time
    The ending sucked ass

I don't. TW S1 and TWAU are Telltale's best games for me. Well written, great characters and satisfying.

I'm a fan of the show but Telltale's GoT just isn't doing it for me. The shifting perspectives doesn't really work, I don't care for any of the protags.
The Forresters are bland. Making characters from the show important was silly, you already know you can't kill them etc.
The story in general has been underwhelming..

Choices never meant much but I feel like GoT's is taking it to a new level

  • I kind of agree with what you're saying.

I think the concept of multiple characters is both good and bad. It does remove focus yes, but it means more people to look after so to speak.

I like the Forresters a lot, even though they're fighting an uphill battle in the game :P
