    Hints get progressively more specific...
    That guard sure likes doing his job, huh?
    Did you see anything around the white house that you might be able to use to distract him?
    What do you think he'd do if the phone rang?
    Why not head back to Sam & Max's office and try calling him?
    This guy takes his job protecting the door really seriously. He's serious about any job he does, really. What could you say to him on the phone that would keep him occupied for a little while?
    Tell him to "hold on".
