Cuz some people assume that abuse can be an attraction in their twisted minds. The idea that the abuse is worth it because in the end it is exciting or different. And outside of the abuse, that person is perfect in every other way.
Handsome Jack's thing is to be in total control, and some assume this means that Rhys would tolerate his punches to reap the benefits.... Maybe.
Me personally? Abusers deserve to have what they do done unto them >:(

I ask myself that and to be honest I will never know. I see post how people should no… moret emotionally and/or physically abuse their partner/friend/relative, but when that fanart where Jack is punching Rhys during sex comes along (on the same website) somehow that's automatically okay?
