If you save Gabriel, Ivor will still mention "You will share Gabriel's fate" and "The girl, I saw her. She ran in the opposite direction"

    To be honest, I don't think Gabriel is dead. I expect Petra to be running on the opposite direction because she was trying to save Gabriel, and that Ivor just think he died. I think both of them live, and that choice will slightly change the way they see Jesse.

    But yes, Ivor will say the same thing regardless.

    In my experience, in both game, movie and Tv-show, unless you see their identified corpses or see them get killed, they aren't dead.
