I actually don't mind Sasha in episode 5. For me, I feel that her and Rhys' relationship are more like a brother and sister. The way I see it, Rhys cares about her, because she is part of their family (Fiona, Vaughn, Gortys, LB)
I personally loved seeing her so friendly toward Vaughn. Vaughn needs a little love.

Yes. Exactly. That's what it feels like to me, too. (Or, at least, that's what I tell myself it should be.) I honestly kind of flipped out when Rhys is doing his little sob routine and she wipes his tears away. At first I was like, "NO DON'T YOU TOUCH HIM", but then realized that they're all really good friends at this point and they all think Sash is dying. So I may have overreacted a little bit...

I think that it because this characters are very close... . Unless TWD, we had very funny moments with them and we passed a lot of things with them (Yeah, in TWD too but I'm going in a diferent way...) . They act like real friends, and you feel it. They become part of your heart in some way...
