Could Rhys and Vaughn appear in TPS?

Think about it,the DLC set for TPS is not complete yet and Helios is still intact,so why couldn't Rhys and Vaughn make a cameo in a future BL:TPS DLC?

It would make a nice nod to Tales, plus it would encourage more BL fans to try out TFTBL,which in turn would bring in more money for both TT and GB.

  • I guess they could, maybe have Vasquez as Wallethead too.

Although at that point of the Borderlands universe Rhys and Vaughn would be like 22.

  • Yeah, they should show Vasquez before he got his hair implants,Rhys before he got his cybernetics and Vaughn before he grew those rocks.

Maybe even have a mission from Felix?

  • I doubt it would make sense time-wise for Rhys, Yvette or Vaughn to be there at that time, but I'll pay for a DLC if as part of a mission Jack goes into the mail room and punches Wallethead (time-wise it could make sense)

But Rhys says in Episode 1 that he spent his entire career up on Helios, and considering TPS is like 2-3 yrs prior to BL2,I don't see why it wouldn't make sense.

  • Well, as large as Helios appears to be, it is not all of Hyperion. Rhys could have started elsewhere.
And imagine Rhys inside Helios during the DAHL assault...

    Well,believe it or not,it is.

Then they would probably show them in the part where it's safer from DAHL soldiers.

I'm pretty sure the dlc set for the Presequel is complete.

Edit: (Why is the format being so weird right now)
Yea 2k Australia Shut down, and they only ever said they'd have 4 dlc expansions:

    1.Handsome Jack:Doppleganger pack

2.Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack: The Holodome Onslaught

    3.Lady Hammerlock:Aurelia The Baroness

    4.
Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2

  • Nope, there are only 2 DLCs released, and one of them looks like an arena type DLC like Digistruct peack,so there's a chance.

  • The character packs count as dlc, and so does the Holo-dome. I suppose there's a chance of something new coming, but don't get your hopes up. The season pass is completed.

  • Nope,it isn't complete,BL2 had around 13 DLCs including both Krieg and Gaige and the digistruct peak,TPS has only got 5 so far so there's plenty of time for them to appear.

  • You can check these official sources:
    http://borderlandsthegame.com/index.php/game/borderlands-the-pre-sequel-season-pass#images
    and
    http://borderlandsthegame.com/index.php/news/us-season-pass-announced-for-borderlands-the-pre-sequel

where it states explicitly that the season pass includes 4 Add on packs. It also says that all of it's content will be included by October of 2015.

There still is a chance for them to release a new dlc, but it's slim and it wont be a part of the season pass.

  • As cool as this sounds, I got to burst your bubble with the "there's no more DLC for The Pre-Sequel!" talk.

First off, to put it bluntly, The Pre-Sequel! is done making DLC. There might be a little confusion over this because Borderlands 2 had 4 story DLCs, along with 2 character DLCs, level upgrade packs (UVHM and Digistruct Peak), a standalone arena pack (Creature Slaughter Dome), the Headhunter packs, and multiple cosmetic packs. However, there was truly only planned to be four DLCs for TPS, no ifs, ands, or buts.

On the official Season Pass page on the Borderlands website, it states "Buy the Season Pass and get all four pieces of add-on content..." We know that the four DLCs are the Holodome, "Jack" the Doppelganger, Aurelia the Baroness, and Claptastic Voyage.

Plus, 2K Australia actually closed its doors on April 16, 2015, the studio that created Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!.

    Sorry. Still, an interesting idea!
