"Don't touch me!" Fiona mo… moreaned. She weakly pushed at Rhys, who simply stepped back.
"I made chicken soup. You'll spill it." He chided her as she turned over on the couch and stuffed her face in the pillows he'd carefully piled up around her.
Muffled muttering came from the pillow and he had to lean in, taking care to leave the soup on the coffee table.
"I hate chicken soup, Rhys. Plus you always put rice in it, who the hell eats chicken soup with rice?!"
Rhys shrugged, sitting down on the edge of the couch. "I just don't like seeing you so... helpless."
Finns sighed and twisted again, facing him. She propped herself up on her elbows, patting her head before she remembered that her hat was on the table beside her.

I just thought of a scenario where Rhys and Fiona are alone and Fiona asks Rhys to expla… morein to her what his job at Hyperion used to entail (because she loves it when he gets enthusiastic about something and goes off on a tangent and over-uses hand gestures for emphasis) but Rhys gets really carried away and ends up talking for ages and Fiona gets so bored that she has to kiss him to shut him up. Then when she pulls away he just keeps talking ^_^
Rhyiona stuff.
He leans down to lay a quick peck on the cheek. “You’re so beautiful,” he whispers.
Rhys turns around to get out… more of the bed when an arm wraps around his bare chest. He looks behind him to see Fiona smirking at him, “not so fast. I didn’t get my share.” Rhys chuckles and is pulled back down onto the bed by Fiona. She presses her lips against his and brings him closer to her, the heat and passion of the kiss reminding them of what happened just last night. Fiona faintly tastes the taste of ice cream that was still present in his mouth. If he ate more after that happened the night before is unknown, but she wouldn’t put it pass him to get up and get a late night snack.
