Game of Thrones: Season 2 Interactive Fanfic

edited November 2015 in Game Of Thrones

So, Telltale's Game of Thrones Season 1 is over. The finale left many cliffhangers and new changes to the story. So since we're probably going to have to wait for the next season now for god knows how long, I've decided to start this story to hold us all over. There will be 5 choices for each episode as usual, and 6 episodes like the previous season. There will also be 5 playable characters. Before I officially start the story, I'm going to ask about your choices from the first season. The major choices that get the most votes will be canon to this story. I'll be asking about the choices in the comments right after I post this. I plan to make this story the best it can be. My experiences with my previous interactive stories will help me accomplish this goal. Now let's get started, Brothers and Sisters of The North!

PROTAGONISTS

Rodrik Forrester- On the run with Talia and Duncan

Gared Tuttle- Marching South To Ironrath With Josera and Elsera

So, lets start off with the choices involving the playable characters. Remember that whatever choices get the most votes, that choice will be canon to this story.

Who is Alive, Rodrick or Asher?

Is Mira Alive and Married To Morgryn or Dead?

Did Gared decide to March South back to Ironrath or Stay and Defend The North Grove?

Vote on those to start out with. More will be coming soon, such as the fate of Gryff and Ludd and some more

  • edited November 2015

Rodrik/Asher: Asher (will Ludd be dead or Gryff)

    Mira: Dead

Gared: Ironrath (I hope he somehow reverts back to the North Grove somewhere down the season line, but I want him to meet the one true king, Stannis. And to see Senpai snow)

Request: will there still be a kings landing perspective? If so can sera be married to tarwick in the canon and still be under Margery's service. Since it's not a choice I'd like to just request it as a choice

    In my playthrough:

    **1) Asher

    2) Dead

    3) March South back to Ironrath**

Although I think you should consider the major choices made by everyone through the game, not just who answers this, you choose whatever.

I suggest not to consider just the already existant character, try to create new ones (even as protagonists).

  • I will take your request in consideration, just know that you will have the answers to your questions about the canon once we are finished with the Season 1 choices

  • Rodrik/Asher: Rodrik

    Mira: Dead

Gared: March south back to ironrath

Good luck on succeeding with this I look forward to the story and voting on who I killed (_)

  • Rodrik/Asher: Rodrik alive.
    Mira: Dead.
Gared: Stayed to defend the North Grove.

  • Adding a little bit more to vote on

Did Gared use Cotter for Blood Magic or Did He Give Him the Nightshade Poison?

Did Mira admit to Margaery That She Used Sera to get into The Coronation Party?

Who did Ethan Pick as his Sentinal?

  • Rodrik or Asher : Rodrik of course !
    Gared : march south.
Mira : alive, she will cut Morgryn's throat in his sleep
Gared gave Cotter Nightshade poison because leaving the North Grove will weaken Elsera power anyway, I think ?
Mira lied to Margaery, maybe Margaery could help Mira kill Morgryn later.
    Sentinel : Royland, he's awesome.

  • Asher is alive.
    Mira is married.
    Gared stays.

  • Rodrik is way too awesome to die. Only him can says things like "I WILL HAVE ORDER" or "I'm going to kill that man".
This character is the most epic man in history.

  • Asher is alive. Mira is alive and married to Morgryn. Gared marched south.

  • Extra votes

    Gared:used cotter for bloodmagic.

Mira: Did not admit to Margery she used sera to get into the corronation party.

    Ethan: Chose Royland as sentinal

Rodrik/Asher: Rodrik Mira: Dead Gared: March south back to ironrath Good luck on succeeding with this I look forward to the story and voting on who I killed (_)

  • Alright, so here's some news on the voting so far. Keep in mind that I put my vote in for each of them as well and some of the winners have been revealed.

Mira lied to Margaery about using Sera and got away with it. The score for her fate is 4 to 4. Next vote will determine her canon fate for this story.

Gared will be marching South to Ironrath with Josera and Elsera. He also used Cotter for blood magic to strengthen Elsera's Powers, which has angered Sylvi.

The vote for the Sentinel is still open, with the score being Duncan: 0 Royland: 2

The score for Asher or Rodrick being alive is 4 to 4, so next vote wins.

And finally some news. I will be releasing the Prologue sometime soon, which will introduce an entirely new playable character. As soon as we get all the votes done I will be able to start writing the other Point of Views.

The only thing I can hope is that the next one likes Rodrik as much as I do XD

  • Edit:

Used Cotter for Blood Magic (sorry Sylvi)

Didn't snitch on Sera (about tarwick either)

Duncan was my sentinel and he survived (Since he knows about the North Grove)

Voting is officially closed. All choices from Season 1 that will be canon to this store are below. Keep in mind that these are simply the results from all of your votes and that I am sorry if a choice did not work out the way you wanted it, but trust me, the story will be interesting either way.

    Rodrik is the survivor

Mira lied about using Sera to get into the Coronation Party to Lady Margaery. Later on Mira was executed in King's Landing for killing a Lannister Guard after refusing to marry Lord Rickard Morgryn

Gared is marching south back to Ironrath with Josera and Elsera

Gared used Cotter for blood magic to strengthen Elsera's powers

Ethan picked Royland as his sentinel instead of Duncan

Asher Forrester got an army of pit fighters with the guidance of his Uncle, Malcom Branfield. Asher and his best friend Beskha sailed off to Ironrath with their small army while Malcom stayed in Essos with Queen Daenerys Targaryen.

Rodrik Forrester went into a romantic relationship with Elaena Glenmore and later tried to stab Ramsay Snow. Later on he spared Duncan after finding out he was a traitor. After being ambushed by the Whitehills, his younger brother, Asher Forrester, sacrificed his life in order for Rodrik to escape.

At the Whitehill Encampment, Rodrik killed Ludd Whitehill, allowing Gryff Whitehill to live. He returned and participated in the battle of Ironrath where Eleana Glenmore was taken by the Whitehills and Lady Forrestor was killed. Royland allowed Rodrik to flee as Gryff took over Ironrath. Now he is heavily wounded and on the run with his younger sister Talia and Duncan

Beskha Managed to save Ryon from Gryff Whitehill and run off

And now the next chapter starts...

    Prologue
    King’s Landing

The middle-aged man sat at his desk, wearing green robes and scratching his chin as he thought over what the coal boy had told him. He had learned that Mira Forrester was dead, executed just a day ago by Ser Ilyn Payne for the murder of a Lannister Guard.

Everything was shaken up. Without Mira, his task would be that much more difficult. House Forrester, loyal bannermen to the Starks, were finished off by House Whitehill, and without Mira, everything was worse. Ironrath, Seat of House Forrester, was taken over, while at least five of the family were dead in less than a month.

The man cupped his hands in his face and sighed. Mira Forrester would have made it if it weren’t for that bastard Rickard Morgryn. Morgryn’s goal was to take Ironrath all for himself through marriage, but when Lady Mira refused, she was killed.

The man stood up and walked outside, his robes following behind him. He breathed in the fresh air, clearing his mind for a moment. The smell of salt overcame him as the small waves crashed against the rock. He looked at the Muddy Passageway in front of him, with many guards and slaves walking by. Up ahead was the River Gate. The man looked back at the small building he had just come out of, observing the dulled, cracked paint on the wood. His Collier shop was getting old. It was first built when he came to King’s Landing from the North.

The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of wood. He felt it with his fingers, feeling around the edges and squeezing it slightly. A small half-smile appeared on his face, barley observant. This was no regular wood, this was Ironwood, stronger than some of the toughest armor. In the center of the wood was the House Forrester symbol, and Ironwood Tree representing the house’s livelihood.

The man put the ironwood back in his pocket as he saw his little coal boy helper jog down Muddy Way. He stopped in front of the man, catching his breath. He wore tan-colored clothes that covered him just the right amount. Sweat on his forehead fit in with his filthy face, giving off a sense of weakness. Deep down, the man knew that this boy was stronger than he looked.

“What have you found Tom?” The man asked, standing casually.

“Lord Godwyn, Lord Morgryn is-“ Tom started, but the man, Godwyn, raised his hand slightly to cut off Tom.

“I’ve told you time and time again that ‘lord’ is not my title. I’m simply a merchant.” Godwyn explained. Tom furrowed his brow. Godwyn liked the respect he got, for Tom calling him lord meant that he thought he was a noble man. In truth, Godwyn never had the right to be called lord, it was simply a title of respect from the young coal boy.

“Alright, as I was saying, Lord Morgryn is asking around about the Ironwood market, and from what I’ve heard he plans to arrange a meeting with the queen for negotiations about the ironwood.” Tom said clearly. Godwyn nodded, asking himself why the queen would want to be involved in such minor matters compared to her rank, but then he thought of a possibility. Queen Cersei had respected Mira from what he had heard, and with her dead now, she probably wanted to see this ‘story’ to the end. Cersei always liked to stick her nose in places she was interested in.

“Did Morgryn say when the meeting would take place?” Godwyn asked. Tom shook his head.

“No but I can try to find out more.” Tom offered.

“Very well. Return to me again when you’ve learned some more.” Godwyn said, and with that Tom was on his way back into the kingdom. Godwyn walked back inside his shop, sitting down again and taking out the piece of ironwood once more. Looking at the symbol, Lord Gregor Forrestor’s words from all those years ago echoed in his mind.

    “You owe me, friend.”

This was Godwyn’s opportunity to return the favor, Lord Gregor Forrester was dead, but that didn’t mean much. No matter how damaged the situation was, one thing was for certain, a determination that lit a spark up inside Godwyn’s body.

House Forrester would not fall, he was going to make sure of that.
