Seems like Ludd really was afraid of Asher.

I thought when Gwyn said that her Father was scared of Asher, I thought she was just saying what Asher wanted to hear (and that she would have said the same thing to Rodrik). However, after looking at Rodrik's episode 6 playthrough, it really does seem that Ludd feared Asher. If you also noticed, Ludd and co didn't mess up Rodrik's body at all when they delivered it, and Ludd seemed way more composed and less arrogant.

  • Dude, Ludd's expression when I ambushed him and chased him out of the great hall, there's no way he isn't scared of Asher.

True! He looked like a pig running from a butcher! It was such an intense scene but I started laughing at how he tripped over his own feet trying to run away!

  • I think it's interesting especially with their history and it makes sense.

  • Yes he was and you can see it in their time together. Ludd is scared of Asher since he dose not give a damn and dose not play by the rules. Ludd knows what Rodrik will do and say. But Asher is a loose cannon. When he comes to your gates and tells you he already won tell him FUCK RAMSEY and bot Ludd and Gryff are taken aback.

Not to mention that Asher guessed correctly that Gryff sent most of that ambush force that killed Rodrick to finish/scout Asher's remaining forces but he turned it around and killed them all in another ambush ironically. Funnily enough they may have been only there to deliver a message but Asher showed how much it meant to him by wiping them out. Pretty much shows that Asher was capable of anything and Ludd couldn't count on him to follow the standard rules anyone else would follow.

  • He understimated Rodrik 'til the end. He even says so when Rodrik's about to kill him.

  • I give Ludd credit there. He knew he was dead, and took it like a complete man. Unlike Gryff.
