So why doesn't Mira appear...

At the main menu after you completed the finale ( if you agreed to marry Morgryn) ? Usually they remove a pov character if they died. Is it because she is detriment?

Comments

  • I believe it's because Asher/Rodrik and Gared are the only confirmed POV's at the moment.

  • Because even if she marries Morgryn, she as good as dead to the story at large?

  • Because she is out of scene for good. She won't be playable anymore, even if she is alive. Morgryn made it very clear that she is his prisoner, even if he won't "literally" lock her up (if she behaves and gives him heirs).

Besides, unlike Rodrik and Asher, Mira doesn't have a counterpart occupying the same role that she was occupying. You see, the survival of one Lord Forrester isn't determinant; the Lord will survive either way. WHO that lord is, if he is Asher or Rodrik, that's what is determinant. But Asher and Rodrik occupy the exact same role, which means that even if they are determinant themselves, it is possible for them to still be playable. Mira doesn't have that.

Yeah I think R/A Season 2 storyline won't be to different story's they will both be saying the same things but they will just look different.

  • Yeah, I think so too. I think Duncan, Royland and Gwyn will occupy the same role, too.

I really wish Mira had a counterpart. The closest we have is Tom, but I can't imagine a story line that could make both her and Tom occupy the same role in King's Landing.

  • Why can't Mira simply bid her time until she plots to have Morgryn killed or something?

Play the long game essentially. I don't think Morgryn would be that stupid to believe it wouldn't be a possibility. Mira could cut his throat in his sleep for one.

  • It wouldn't be as easy as cutting his throat while he sleeps.

Morgryn's gonna be careful, atleast at first. He'll probably have seperate chambers for Mira and only go there when he wants to impregnate her. If he's smart he'll post guards in his own apartments.

Mira's gonna have to be smart about this. Escape is a more possible goal then killing him.

  • Then what's the point? You might get executed for killing him

  • If you think about it, it's better than dying immediately. If Mira can kill Morgryn, she will at least get her revenge.

  • Only because she is determinant. If she wasn't (if say, she was kidnapped by him on her way to the chopping block), then I think that's exactly what Mira would do.
