I've been thinking that she got her personality from both Rhys and Fiona. Since they were both imprinted on her core. I could be wrong, but it would be interesting.

Well, the reason Gortys is niave and cute is mostly due to alot of fan art that was happening based on Gortys from the episode 1 teaser, alot of people wanted her to act kinda "childish."
Original, Gortys didnt sound so cute and was really depressed and didnt care about anything.

Any links for original Gortys? It definitely looked like the original designs for Fiona and Rhys were a lot less...goofball (?) than what the final draft ended up being. Teaser Rhys looked like he belonged at Hyperion and would have totally worked with Jack.
Keep in mind the original Rhys and Fiona models were really just basic place holders.
Im also way to lazy to try finding original Gortys, but just think of Ashly Johnson doing a monotone voice and saying things like "Life is meh."
There are some audio files floating around in the Details thread somewhere, it also has a few lines from the Cassius that was set to show up in episode 2.
Oh wait, there was unused Cassius lines for episode 2?

The fact that they changed her character doesnt mean they took the idea from the forum.
It is really jarring to listening a cynical version of Gortys.

It sounds like Sasha's relationship with the real tour guide used to be a little different
ETA: and omg this draft of ep3 goes a long way toward explaining Fiona and the Stranger's hostility toward Rhys in the early eps.
It's certainly hard to imagine her relationship with Loaderbot being the same with them both being deadpan snarks.
I wish they'd kept "...and you seem to be barely holding onto your sanity. I guess we're all making observations now", though.
Its way lost in the Rhyiona thread, Telltale staff commented about how alot of Gortys design and character based on the fan art there.
if you want to look for it, just go to the thread and look for date of episode 3 or a few days after.
Was I the only one who really enjoyed both versions of Gortys? I mean the happy Gortys was really great and all, but I still would have loved to see the original cynical version too.
