Objectively best way to end the season? -Possible spoilers-

edited February 2016 in Game Of Thrones

Hey guys, unlike most of my playthroughs which i finished instantly, I had to wait for friends on GoT and only recently finished the season. So i missed the crowded forums when everyone was theorycrafting and stuff. So im sure theres been a few posts about this. But i was wondering if there is an objectively best way to play and finish this season?
Keeping as many people alive, keeping as many people happy as possible. that sort of objectivity.

The only one i noticed was that we could keep Mira alive by sacrificing someone else and getting married, an option i would take for Mira's sake.
Any other important choices to make?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

  • In my opinión there are several depending on what you want to do:

    Asher/Rodrick:

Love : best way is to cancell the plan and agree with gwyn.

    Redemption : Spare the traitor

    Sentinel: Kill traitor

The best is to accept guilt since Margery can't help you and Sera is a good frien. Mira is a though one on fate though:

    Honor: She dies

    Survival: She lives

And Gared is split between saving the familly or protecting the grove.

  • The best outcome for me is

Kill the traitor when you get the option

    Choose to marry as Mira

Apart from that its unclear whether anything else is better, just choose what you think is best for the rest. There is quite a bit of variety

  • Thanks for the reply :)
I wonder what you mean with redemption and sentinel though. What happens if you spare the traitor? I haven't done so. Does it give tangible benefits? Besides keeping a potential ally alive?

  • The traitor takes the sentinels place in the end with Asher/Rodrick and Talia seemingly rescuing her from the whitehills.

If you Kill the traitor the sentinel survived the battle and saves Tali if you dont he dies and the traitor does seemingly looking for redemption.

    • Stand up to Gryff.
    • Kill the Traitor.
    • Maim Gryff.
    • Save Rodrik.
    • Kill Ludd.

Boom: By the Bolton's terms, you've won the war. The Lord of House Whitehill lies dead with its second-in-command (Harys). Meanwhile, the Lord of House Forrester lives as does their second-in-command (the Sentinel). Also, Gwyn is loyal to House Forrester since her family brutally murdered Asher. And the only person left to pick up the pieces is a maimed, fatherless, sisterless, Gryff who knows all too well Rodrik--whom always defied him, and has proven to be unkillable--is still out, with the assistance of either cunning Duncan Tuttle, or the fearless badass Royland Degore.

  • Thanks, i like that outcome ;)

  • You forget, if you kill the traitor Rodrick does at the end, if you saventhe traitor he saves rodrick
