Which storyline from all the five Characters, was the most boring one for you

For me it was Mira. I kinda knew from the beginning what was happening with her, Also I did not had really much fun playing as her.
I do like her character though.

  • For me Mira was one of the most fun to play as. I didn't really find any of them 'boring'

  • If I look back to how it was when I first play them, none of the storylines were boring. I find them all engaging and exciting in their own way. But on replays, I always find Rodrik's and Asher's storyline the most exciting to play again and less so with Gared's and Mira's storyline.

  • I enjoyed all of them, but the most boring would have been to be Gared's, with Mira's a close second. (I loved every second of Ethan, Rodrik and Asher's sections)

Gared's story just went nowhere after Episode 3. And Mira's story was just entirely pointless in the end, even though it had its moments.

  • I found all of them enjoyable, but I guess it would have to be Ethan, considering we played as him for only one episode.

  • everyone has his own opinion, Brother :)

Gared's for sure. I like Gared and most of his storyline characters, but we spend the whole game without an exact objective (and sometimes, not doing anything at all):

Episode 1: They set up his character. He goes to the wall.

Epsode 2: He stays in the wall and does stuff and thangs, without any defined objective.

Episode 3: More stuff and thangs, Duncan comes and gives him a objective. He kills a dude, yay.

Episode 4: His plot finally progresses but not that much - he leaves the wall, fight wildlings and meets Elsa! Sorry - he meets Sylvi (another wildling)!

    Episode 5: He's just there.

Episode 6: He finds the North grove! Yay! It's revealed to be... errrr... 2 bastards?

  • If Ethan didnt die in episode one, probably him, but Mira got really boring for me, which sucked, it wasn't her character, it was just what her story was about that I didnt like.

  • Episode 5: Gared's camping trip with his friends. :)

Mira's arc was probably the most uneventful

  • Mira. I liked the last few episodes, but I was quite bored in the first few. I felt like they dragged, and weren't all that exciting until the mysteries and action began.

I found Gared's the most interesting, I just hope no characters in Season 2 have filler episodes. It's quite disappointing when that happens.

Woody, oh Woody... Let me tell you all about Gared's objectives.

Episode 1: To find The North Grove.

Episode 2: To prove his worth so he can become a ranger and so he can find The North Grove.

Episode 3: Duncan gives him a map so he knows where he has to go to find The North Grove.

Episode 4: Escapes so he doesn't die and continues north to find The North Grove.

Episode 5: He can't go far because of Cotter but his objective is still to find The North Grove.

Episode 6: HE FINDS THE NORTH GROVE. He then comes up with his own objective, either protecting The North Grove or going south to save Ironrath.

So his objective was always to find The North Grove and then he comes up with his own objective.

Gared's for sure. I like Gared and most of his storyline characters, but we spend the whole game without an exact objective (and sometimes,

  • Mira with Gared being close second.

  • Maria's? I believe you mean Mira's.

  • Gared's. Say what you want, but I love court intrigues so Mira's storyline wasn't boring to me.

But Gared's...After he escaped The Wall it wasn't as exciting and I found it dull. Even when we finally got to the north grove.

  • I pretty much enjoyed all the storylines and I didn't find any storyline boring.

But if I had to choose, I'd choose Ethan's. Yes, he was only on one episode, but his story wasn't really exciting for me. I enjoyed it, but I still find it the less fun storyline to see.

  • Stop being so damn right k8. It's frustrating.

  • It's just in my nature to know things about Gared's storyline, most of the time I will be right when I talk about it.

  • Holy fuck. Mira's. Her entire storyline was pointless and she had ONE fun scene. (the one where you spy on people, I really liked that)

Gared's story was fun up until episode 3 as somebody mentioned it went nowhere after that. It's like they told too much too fast and were like "all right, shit lets just have him in the woods for two episodes"

  • I was thoroughly engrossed in everyone's storylines, but if I absolutely had to choose the most boring one, it would have to be Rodric's. With everyone else, there was hope. With Rodric, I knew halfway through he was doomed. Nearly everything he did was a stall for Mira and Asher: one to bring political/business support, the other to bring military support. Of course, I'm not counting Ethan's story because if we're being honest, it was really more of a prologue to Rodric's, not a storyline in it's own right.

I think Gared's. Comparatively, his story was the most straightforward and didn't have as much tension or strategy to it.

Mira's plotline dragged at times but overall there was enough political intrigue and secrecy to keep me interested. Asher benefited from heavy action, witty dialogue, and different settings. Ethan and Rodrik's stories were at the heart of the game with many strategic choices to defend Ironrath. Unfortunately Gared's plot felt more about just getting from point A to point B at the whim of other characters, and the most interest I had in his story was when he finally got to the north grove and had meaningful choices of his own.

Gared. I didn't feel like I was doing anything important, and I wasn't interested in the North Grove and I never liked the Wall.

  • Yeah, apologies. Stupid auto correct

  • Ethan's. It seemed to drag out with no real conflict except setting up your sentinel and traitor with Rodrik.

  • Really? I always thought Gared's story didn't really get moving until he deserted.

    By episode

    Gared in one

    Asher in 2 and 3

    Gared in 4 and 5

    Mira in 6

    Overall from best to worst

    • Rodrik
    • Ethan
    • Mira
    • Asher
    • Gared
  • Mira's, its not boring but it was annoying. every word you can say has double meaning or not the meaning that you intended.

  • Gared in all episodes except for the first one. I'm glad he survived in the end, but to be honest, I sometimes forgot that he was in the story. Also I found Asher's Arc boring in episode 3 but that's about it.

  • The all have their own ups and lows, but in my opinion, Rodrik's was the storyline that seemed boring, but Gared's storyline was the most pointless

  • So you like the Rodrik line the best?

By episode Gared in one Asher in 2 and 3 Gared in 4 and 5 Mira in 6 Overall from best to worst * Rodrik * Ethan * Mira * Asher * Gared

  • Ethan, I wanted to make a badass little lord. But nope. I love Rodrik's arc the most. (I didn't bend me knees to no one)

  • I didn't find any of them boring. They were all engaging to me.

  • Mira, I really don't need to explain because it was boring. Was a little exciting in episode 6 but that's it
