His Plot Armor is Gone

My lords and ladies, for the last year and a half, Ramsay Snow/Bolton has terrified us with his presence for our beloved Forresters. Whether it was his horrific scene with Ethan, or his unpleasant interaction with Arthur, we've come to know the bastard very well. Ramsay has been untouchable because we knew that the game was cannon to the show, therefore even if the game tempted us into attacking Ramsay (Grove stabbing option) we knew deep down inside that Ramsay couldn't be touched. It is with great pleasure that I say this, but as of the Battle of the Bastards, Ramsay Bolton is now Mortal!!! He could realistically die! This is wonderful news and I believe we can now all raise a glass to the simple fact that perhaps Jon Snow and company can avenge our fallen brothers whom lost their lives to Ramsay!

Can't wait for Sunday!

  • His show plot armour might be gone but I'm still here :D

  • Ugh, he never had plot armor I dont get this thing people go on about.

  • Well, technically, he had a plot armor in Telltale's Game of Thrones, mostly because in episode 5, where we are given an option to stab Ramsay, it's just a scratch for him, which just makes the choice worthless.

If he didn't have plot armor, he'd be killed by now.

  • "Twenty good men ™"

    "Shirtless Ramsay".

    Please.

  • Plot twist: He kills Jon and Sansa

And he's also the Prince that was Promised. We find out that R + L= Ramsay

    Twenty good men

This isnt plot armor, him and a group or northmen launching a successful sabotage mission on a group of southern frozen knights isnt plot armor. Its not like Ramsey and 20 men defeat the whole army or something

    "Shirtless Ramsay".

Okay, I'd be willing to give this as plot armor but its still not unbelievable that he could survive that. He just doesnt get hit.

Plenty of characters in the series have more plot armor than that

This I could see being plot armor but the guards were likely prepared for rodrik doing this, who was still weak by the way. However this is one moment the guy has plot armor possibly, most of the main characters have a few of those. The most obvious being Tom , which has pure plot armor for surviving in the runaway scenario

  • If we are referring to plot armor as "we already know he's important to the plot in the TV show and therefore can not be killed in the game" then yes he has plot armor for the game. I wouldn't say he has it for the show.

It's a question of point of view so I don't think we will agree but here as I see it:

This isnt plot armor, him and a group or northmen launching a successful sabotage mission on a group of southern frozen knights isnt plot armor. Its not like Ramsey and 20 men defeat the whole army or something

Well, seeing how Ramsay is young and the last winter is like 10 years ago, I doubt the northerners still know the field. Stannis is supposed to be hidden in mountain in a snowstorm, no smoke or whatever.. but still they manage to find them. They succeed to sneak in without being noticed, found where the food was stored, where the siege weapons were, where the horses were, all of this without being caught, then they started a fire in a blizzard while they are not even here, somehow killed a few hundred of horses in the process and they left without being caught again.

And it's that which is the cause of his defeat in show. Twenty good men raid > no food > Shireen on pyre > Half army deserted > not enough to defeat Boltons.

Okay, I'd be willing to give this as plot armor but its still not unbelievable that he could survive that. He just doesnt get hit.

It's said she brought the best killers in the iron Island. They stopped figthing and Yasha wait him to unlock the dogs.. She could simply throw an axe to him and it would be the end.
