Season 7 DELAYED!
So yeaah... Just read that they will start filming later to get the REAL winter. I'm bummed. But I am alright with it, it makes sense.

Well the reasoning makes sense, they'll probably start shooting the exterior scenes couple months later than usually. And honestly, isn't that what people have been asking for? Real winter, since it's been promised for so long.
I agree with you to 100%, mate.
I'm kinda sad that we will have to wait longer for the next season. However, at the same time, I don't have a problem with it. Longer waits usually make shows/games a lot better. Also, real winter... insert "Hey, that's pretty good!" video here.
So long as they make sure it's worth the wait, I don't mind the decision.
Maybe it's gonna be the last season. And they're planning to make it a great one.
Instead of getting in April we'll probably be getting it in June which isn't really that bad. Either June or July. Can't imagine it being pushed all the way back until fall 2017, that would suck.
Theres going to be one more season after 7. There are only 13 episodes left though, Seven episodes in Season 7 and Six episodes in Season 8.
That seems...strange.
There aren't that many villains left except Cersei and the White Walkers.
Exactly. Im sure that season 7 is going to have daneerys conquer westeros and season 8 will be the long night. my best guess.
Seems like the Long Night will be rather short.

That is absolutely irrelevant. Though it's true indeed, I am waiting for the books, and waited for that just as long as you have atleast. Just because I created a thread about Season 7 delayed, doesn't mean that I haven't read the books. Sorry if I sound cocky. Didn't really mean to.
well hopefully, with this extended period they have now, they fix the politics in Westeros because that last episode left it a mess. also it'll be interesting if they do something in the Crypts since the crypts are almost always mentioned in the books from what ive gathered.
yeah its sad but honestly it makes sense. however bare in mind that the rest of the seasons of game of thrones will be delayed as well, like they said they can't do sunny weather anymore. and winters in the game of thrones world last 1000 years? i can't remember but its a longer time compare to the real world's seasons. we don't have many seasons left of game of thrones according to the writers of the show so lets just enjoy it while it last.
The Crypts sounds awesome. Hope we see some of that.
We probably get used to it though. It's only 2 seasons left, and if S7 starts, say around now. Then we probably get S8 around now in 2018. Winters CAN last in a very long time. But I think Tyrion said that he lived through like 7 or 8. I don't know, something like that.

The premiere date of Season 7 of Game of Thrones has been pushed back to Summer 2017...:(
At least it gives grrrm time to finish the winds of winter (hopefully)
I am actually more worried if he manage to finish the final book, A Dream of Spring
I'm fine with this, More time - better episodes.
