A thought came to mind

with episode 6 done, you all know Gared has a choice ethier to stay and protect the grove or go back to aid his house. I'm kinda worried that house forrester
would turn on Gared for being home two Bastards and a wildling.

plus Gared's uncle becomes a traitor (if you choose royland) and he's looking out for the nightwatches watchful eye.
I ask this because Gared's my favorite character.

  • I don't think House Forrester would turn on Gared. They all seemed very fond of him in episode 1 and they know he only had to leave because he killed a Whitehill. Traitor Duncan is still alive and with Asher in my game so there's that.

Plus Gared has been risking everything for the house. They might be confused at first but the remnants of House Forrester won't care when he shows up with a warg and a blood witch to wreak havoc upon the Whitehills.

  • They won't turn on Gared. They've always looked after him like he's a Forrester himself, and it's not his fault that Lord Forrester happened to have bastards. Plus, I think a wildling is the least of their worries now haha.

  • They are more likely to welcome back Gared with open arms while being sceptical of his new friends. He has risked his very life for the House, I mean he could have decided to stay at Castle Black and just forget about the Forresters but instead he put his life in danger to complete his mission. The Forresters need all the help they can get, if they were to reject Gared and his buddy's then that would be foolish.

  • you make a good point

  • so basically they'll be like "hey welcome back, though your friends seem like weirdos."
