Exactly...why annouce something, this has turned into one big mess. It takes two minutes to reply. No crap about being too tied up with the walking dead, this is a separate property with a different team managing it. So none of the crap.
Eh, maybe they don't see phone gaming as a serious platform? I especially would see why they would hate android, as any company does. Since the piracy rate is even higher than on pc. And to answer your previous statements about telltale not optimising the episode beforehand: My conclusion is that they simply don't have enough programmers assigned to pc and phones or they postpone it because it's harder to optimise on those platforms rather than, say on next gen consoles.

But why not just say that why give us the run around, the graphics on mobile are relatively low so it should run like a knife through butter, maybe they need to utilise metal on iOS. But they won't because their own obviously crappy engine won't handle it or they just don't want to use it, and stick to their trademark 'we create games that sound good, look good, but god knows they handle like crap on every platform..don't worry though we have a bag full of cash, so we don't need to do a thing.. muahaha..* evil villain laugh.

The piracy reason is acceptable. But mobile IS turning out to be a serious on-the-go and hardcore gaming platform as we are seeing rapid development in its gfx cards and processors every day and every week with every new mobile announcement. So devs now have to start treating it as one.

They said it needs mali880, which made some less-gfx users not even try their game (which caused less downloads from store) even though it works on my mali760, not many lags
But they won't because all they see is...dollar signs when it comes to consoles..they probably pay them for the opportunity and then mobile drag behind picking up the scraps. It's unfair I pay a lot for season passes, and this is how they treat us, it's a poor show. Customer service is non-existent, I don't think I've ever seen anyone say anything about how sorry we are or please accept our apologies. Nope nothing' just "coming soon". You telltale mods have a voice. Do you agree or disagree with the way they treat us.

Outright saying something like "we postpone the fixes on phones since it's as outdated as previous gen consoles also batman is a testin run for the engine xdxd" would not only damage their shares, but would cause bit of a stir. That should atleast teach you not to buy unfinished product

Just a heads up, mods are not supposed to be dragged into useless arguments.
Phone games are not seen as "hardcore" platfrom because most popular games are free-2-play.
I agree that telltale should converstate with fans more, but don't forget that it's a company. The reason they might be not answering to you is simply because the person put in charge of the twitter account (i.e PR manager) doesn't know.

It's not useless when you've paid for something, you expect the product on the day specified; and at the last minute they think they can change the date and no-one will notice, if they knew this was going to happen which foresight would have been ringing alarm bells going..s**t lets not promise something till the beginning of the week commencing the 22nd..not just wait until the day arrives and then decide to delay it, it's not on. They've had time more than a month to sort this episode out. It's just plain annoying and wrong.

I work in the public sector a managing director of a business, i know how business works, and this is not business it's just dalliance, surely they know about the problems. If I did that with any of my products, my customers and word of mouth would get around saying don't go back their the product is defunct or faulty..I'm afraid people see flashing lights..I unfortunately fell into the Batman trap as I love Batman, but do you honestly think DC for one minute would want their reputation or anything affiliated with them tarnished by a shoddy product..I don't think so.

Yeah that's fine..but you're not telling me they knew on the day of supposed release..they would have had ample time to test the product, it's bonkers. Plus you're telling me they can't afford to hire additional staff. They make millions, it's just the whole historical fact of the ...I can't be arsed attitude. They can release a update on iOS. Why won't they just tell us. You're telling me they don't know when one of their products is under maintenance, that's a joke.

Just checked the support. Didn't see it before.
They know about the Season Pass issues with 360. Working on it.
Lol, just like 2. Just like 3.
Once you identify a problem and solve it, doesn't that mean the problem shouldn't arise again?
Still can't believe telltale haven't commented on where the hell the mobile version is, it's been a day and a half and nothing. Nada, bub-kiss, not a bean, not even a peep, murmur or squeak. Not even...you get what I mean.

Here's a non salty answer. Nah. No difference, episode 4 started smooth, but by the end it was chugging as bad as the intro to episode 1 for me.

Sometimes ends don't meet and nobody can know when, so it's ok to delay something

A7000 Turbo of Lenovo
Well people are flaming on twitter about the no show of the iOS version.. they're getting roasted.
Episode 4 shows as available in the Marketplace on X Box 360.
The main screen of the game says Download Episode 4 but when I click it on, it tries to charge me, even though I have a Season Pass.
The main screen still says 'Purchased but not installed.'
Sigh, it's Episode 2 and 3 all over again. How does this keep happening?!
First you wait till the episode is available - then you wait for them to fix it for Season Pass holders.
We complain a lot but come on, this is kind of a joke, no?
Come on dammit!
About to play the episode on Steam. YES!
Just checked the support. Didn't see it before.
