I think it could be due to fragmentation of the devices, iOS is easier to optimise due to only having a select few handsets. Android has about 20x poweful handsets. But I'd say they they will optimise the Samsung devices.

I made a post earlier the day before episode 4 released the support page didn't exactly say it would release the 22nd so I'm surprised that other people are surprised.
there's new update on play store for Batman - telltale .size about 816 mb , according to the changelog : addeng support for additional devices

The games a mess on iOS, laggy, black, audio files missing, iPad Pro 12.9 inch. Seriously do telltale even test this game. It's broken, I was looking forward to this; what a waste..broken textures people walking through doors/people getting stuck in circles. It's mental. So much for the optimisation process, is this what we can expect from the walking dead..I think I'll pass. Thanks all the same.

I downloaded the the latest episode, it installs (according to the PS4 notifications menu), but the menu keeps saying to "Download Episode". I've restarted the game several times with no luck.
