1 & 2 are similar. Though the second might be a bit better. Both the first and second result in her sending you a postcard which should remind anyone that got it of her escape from City Hall (hint that she's returning to Gotham is my guess on meaning).
I just finished my first playthrough, and was just wondering.
There are 3 options for player's Batman to choose (when Selina asks why Bru… morece thinks she's more than just a thief):
* You saved my life.
* We make a great team.
* I love you.
I first tried the confession option, and her reaction was so bad (and that codex entry where they become enemies again - just didn't make sense), that I restarted episode 5 and chose option 1 (saved my life). Her reaction to that was much more positive, and they sorta leave on a good note (with Selina sending Bruce a postcard, and codex saying Bruce looks forward to their next meet.
Is Option 2 (great team) any better?
Not much of Batman and not much of Bruce. Batman sees the good deep in, and Bruce relies on Al. Bruce/Batman is himself when he can rely on Selina/Catwoman. Harvey was always meant to become Two-Face, he also can't put two and two together even when it's blatant. Oswald was always meant to be your enemy. Alfred hid the truth from Bruce to help bring Batman to life. Selina is very similar to Bruce, though their choices are for the most part the exact opposite, but like they say opposites attract.
It wasn't the wrong line for my Bruce. My Bruce came to see her as nothing more then a thief. Harvey, Oswald and Selina had all let him down… more. So i created a Bruce who no longer feels the need for friendship or romantic connections. Shut off to everyone. He doesn't trust anyone anymore.
No offense, but I've been reading comic books since 1988. There have been countless times when Bruce/Batman shut himself off from others in order to get the job done or to not to get people hurt or for countless other reasons. That's the direction I've decided to take my version of Bruce/Batman.
Outside media aside, i don't really see how telling Selina she's nothing more then a thief can be considered wrong. If someone wanted to choose that option then it's their option to choose that.

And you slightly contradicted yourself. And there are so many options with Selina that you can even start off with saying she's nothing but a thief before pulling a 180, which leads her to be a bit shocked. And she ends up sending Bruce a postcard which makes the most sense. The worst endings to the conversation are when she says that Bruce is like everyone else.
Another thing about Bruce is honesty. Selina ain't always honest, but she always makes mistakes when lying to Bruce. "I'm certainly no hero" is a clear lie, she saved Bruce and she helped Bruce out at the debate if you let her.

First one sounded more like something Batman would say, so I chose that one (since in my first playthrough, I always try to make decision on what that character would make, like Bigby [from Fables], and Batman [from comics]).
But in my second playthrough, I'll try "We make a great team" option.

I think my Catwoman is still sore about me not saving her. (Bros before hoes) I didn't do anything romantic with her. I gave her a hug though in episode 5. A hug option is replace of a kiss if you are friendly with her.
It's to be expected with her - she's always done things like that in the comics.
However, when the relationship between Bruce and Selina started becoming more serious she actually would try to stay and help. But I think Selina was doing the smart thing in leaving.
If Harvey were to go back to her then she was screwed. If Ozzie were to try and enact some revenge or something on her, she was screwed. If she stayed in Gotham, where she knew she would be of no help anyways, she was screwed.

Fully agree

She says she understands and I think she does but it doesn't inspire the affection being saved does.
I wait for that with baited breath.

I say she did the smart thing.
