  • I respect you in including facts and not generalizing, but I see it a lot here on the forum attaching every negative to "telltale" as a company and not specifying what is actually wrong and who is responsible for it.. this whole community been toxic to the core lately. I miss when we used to talk about actual game content and discussing episodes and predictions, now all I do is responding to toxicity with reason.. :)

I'm not steven's lvl of positivity but hell, I sound like one here..

I'm not sure if you're talking about me specifically, but I do believe that I always feel the need to back my views on these boards. It piss

  • It's not mean, it's the cold truth. Enough sugar coating things because when they get sugarcoated, things don't get fixed.

There is constructive criticism everywhere. There has always been but they didn't listen. So how can you expect people to "be positive"?

  • They didn't work with the information they were given, if they did we wouldn't be here.

well, creative teams and such do not operate out of thin air! they work with the information they're given.

  • Just an educated guess. Considering the way people act around here I like to think no one here is old enough to even have that privilege, and if they do they aren't screaming at a veteran CEO about rules he must follow.

Why would you assume that fans don't know how to run a business?

  • How about we let them try to fix ANF first?

Is that even possible? I have some hope for Telltale as a company now. But ANF seems completely DOA at this point. We're almost half way through the season at this point, even if episodes 4-5 are excellent they can't fix what came before.

  • True, they can't fix what came before. But there are still ways to improve tbe season and leave it on a somewhat positive note.

    1. Increase the length of the episodes.
    2. More playable Clem, including in the present.
    3. More character development.
    4. More s2 flashbacks, perhaps in the form of a DLC.

Extremely wishful thinking, I know, but it seems there are a lot of changes going on there so im hoping they can step up here for everybody's sake.

  • We can be positive that they like to be selective when it comes to feedback?

I mean, TWD:ANF did listen to fan feedback about more hubs... but didn't add all the additional content/conversations that allot of people expected they would add along with hubs and have been requesting since the second season of the game.

  • well it did say that some current employees, bruh most were in the negative. and also from other companies. Naughty Dog mostly positive and other companies as well, although most companies were 70/30 good/bad (ND the exception).

Glassdoor things are a sign, but they're usually written by the angriest of employees, and you don't have the company's side of the story, so they shouldn't be taken as absolute truth. You can read reviews for other companies without signing in.

  • I agree. Telltale is my favorite company, and their games have changed my life. However, I'm not blind to the fact that they are going through some troubles. On a positive note, every company goes through these troubles. Marvel was going bankrupt in the 90's, and now they are one of the most profitable companies on the planet(at least in the Entertainment industry). I want them to be the best they can be, and I trust that they will. I believe in you Telltale.

  • Yeah, I sort of forgot about Batman but I'll admit it is an exception from what I've stated above.

  • well it would be nice if they're episodes didn't selectively leak over a week in advance while the rest of us have to wait. That'd be a nice thing to try and work on...just a little thought to toss.

  • and be sure to tell your guys to make the fucking GoT season 2

  • It probably won't happen, but it should happen.

I'd much rather see another TFTBL than another useless Minecraft game.

TFTBL S2 will not happen, not everything need a season 2! plus if you want a season 2 check out the new borderlands that gearbox is developing now.

  • I was one of those whose opposed a minecraft game, but I ended up enjoying it way too much. I must say that the DLC is way better. having a self-contained story made it more adventure-y and FUN. I hope they make a season two because petra is bae.
