Tales From The Borderlands made me want to go play the other games and I can honestly say that Handsome Jack is one of the greatest villains to ever grace the world of fiction with his presence.
So, my job is being transferred to across the city. That's not fun. It is going to be a few blocks away from Bioware's main studio though. So that's kind of cool.
i hate work right now being stuck on an 8 hour shift in a gas station while every other store is closed served half the galaxy and at the end get told by the manager i hate the most that i did a failure to ask where someone hasnt paid for their fuel but bought something else it still is a failure to ask even if they deny that they have fuel i cant exactly aim a gun at their heads and force them to buy fuel why cant i live the high life and enjoy myself not work in this rubbish place

Some of you need to chill. I posted my selfie in the selfie thread and got seriously pervy questions almost immediately, I had to delete my pic, jfc. What I'm saying is, if any of you people who do that read this, here's a tip to impress a girl
Fucking hell. Found out that there's a YouTube channel that is pretty much just two parents abusing their children. In pretty much every video it's just them scaring the shit out of their kids, yelling at them, swearing at them and in one video, the dad just shoves his son into a bookshelf. In damn near every single on of their videos at least one of their kids is just crying and the parents just make fun of them for doing so.
How the hell do people like this actually gain some sort of fanbase (700, 000 subs)? How is YouTube not doing anything on literal child abuse?
Thankfully this channel is gaining some awareness so hopefully this'll help fuck them over.

How does a site like that have 700,000 followers to begin with?
I don't really know the full story here, but I don't really get the appeal of video series such as these. There's nothing wrong with a harmless prank, sure, but when you take it to the extremes on a daily basis, all it does is make you look pretty damn insane.

Either the views are bots or it's because their audience are dumb children who think seeing someone getting hurt is funny. They don't just look pretty damn insane, they're absolute pieces of shit for making money off their children's misery. It's gotten to the point where the kids have Stocklholm Syndrome and don't believe that their parents are doing anything wrong.

The problem is, is that we don't really know what happens when the cameras are not in use at the end of the day.
We don't know whether the family are actually well adjusted people. Maybe they're just having fun acting out like a dysfunctional family for the sake of entertainment, and might be taking a step too far in some videos. Or maybe the parents really are like this even when not recording videos, and are content with making a profit out of how they treat their kids.
Either way, I don't see the appeal in it at all. I don't think I would have the patience to put up with pranks like these.

Well this is an interesting morning for me. First I learn that James Hetfield, the lead singer and guitarist of Metallica, will be narrating a documentary on porn addiction, then I read that Aaron Hernandez has killed himself in prison. And that was all in the first 20 minutes or so after waking up, this is going to be a weird day.
It turns out that the DaddyoFive's channel is a lot more twisted than I had thought.
A Reddit user had counted more than 200 videos out of nearly 300 where a child is either being shouted at, being physically pushed or dragged around, being encouraged to beat up their siblings (with two of them who are adopted and are possibly abused the most out of other children), and generally being exploited purely for the sake of entertainment on YouTube.
I can't imagine a single child, let alone all five of them, having the energy to consistently play along and tolerate with every prank video their parents decide to create and upload on the Internet for everyone to see. No one on Earth have this much patience and eagerness to tolerate virtually every day with 'pranks' without cracking under pressure, especially when there's no preparations beforehand, and especially with the way they are treated.
One child is even disallowed from having his own privacy after being 'pranked', because the father "needs to vlog everything", purely to earn his income. The mother even berates him for not taking the 'prank' as a prank, and this is after shouting and screaming at them until they break down as a response, so that they can laugh at them.
It has gotten so bad that the social services had gotten involved once before, and yet there's no stopping these parents from doing what they do to their own children.
This simply cannot be a result of a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by the media, I'm more inclined to believe that these parents have no basic understanding of what a 'prank' is, and that they have no respect for their own children's privacy on the Internet.
These videos basically sums up the problem with DaddyoFive:
I played the first 2 hours of Resident Evil 7. From what I've seen so far, it's AMAZING. It made feel like I was playing Resident Evil Remake (Which is my favourite RE game), on first person perspective. I love it so far. Spooky, scary, disturbing. This is how Resident Evil should be. Resident Evil 5 and 6 were nothing but stupid action games, they were never scary.
Okay, I'm little sceptical about that new Guardians game. Any good reasons to play it? I'm not familiar with this universe but it has never been a problem.
The first half is a little rough but there is a cool action sequence and the second half feels more well put together. The soundtrack is also pretty good. The story especially towards the end gets pretty interesting. I think if you're skeptical you should wait until more episodes are out before completely deciding and maybe check out a lets play of the first episode. If you would like to know more about the Guardians I would recommend watching the movie if you haven't already. The backstories for the characters are similar but with minor changes.

Well... In my opinion, it's okay. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't great. There are cool new gameplay additions (multiple vertical layers to a hub that you can switch between, the ability to call and talk to the other guardians at certain points)
But the story is kinda bland. Maybe watch a playthrough, see what you think? There is a free trial on PS4/XBox One (not sure about Steam) so you can try that. I think the beginning is the best part, and then it kind of goes down-hill.

Oh my God. I looked it up out of curiosity and just found out that David Tennant plays the Radio Announcer in Just Cause 3... I knew he sounded a lot like Tennant in the game but I never guessed that it was actually THE REAL DEAL...

Good to hear, but now, I think I caught your illness, I've been feeling like shit all day. Thanks for that.
Shame on @Johro for posting on the forums with a contagious disease!
I know right, some people can be so inconsiderate.
Really? Hmm, maybe I might play Borderlands 2.
