The release date of season 2

I've been waiting desperately here for the new season coming out soon, but I don't know if I'm a bit off news... did they stop developing it and its never going to get released or are they still working on it, I really need to know because my sources aren't useful :D
Season 1 ended sadly by House Forrester falling down, I choose to die than marry to that Whitehill lord, because at the end I'm making alliance, not going to make someone rule Ironrath except the Forresters.
I'd like staff to answer this and if anybody knows any information about that please let me know.

    oh alright thank you very much everyone,I've got another guess though, I heard that they are releasing a new season to game of thrones the TV series, so I guess they'll release it as well?
