ToMI, Deluxe and free shipping.

Hi, few months ago I've bought the entire ToMI season in expectation that I'd receive the DVD for only the prince of shipping. But now there's the Deluxe along with free shipping offer.

My question is: having previously bought the ToMI, I am not eligible to the free shipping offer since I want the Deluxe version now? Because if I try to buy the Deluxe version, since it's only 14.95, the shop bills me with the shipping, but I'd like to be able to count my previously bought season with the deluxe, and have the free shipping.

Otherwise, I feel I'm being kinda punished for having bought the game before. And I haven't even played them since I wanted it in DVD.

Well, I hope there's a way.

Thanks for now. :)

(and sorry for the bad english, I'm not native speaker and that's one of the reasons I'd like the free shipping, :) )

It's free shipping ONLY if you spend $50 on things now. So, that's an upgrade to Deluxe edition PLUS other stuff as well.

Well, if I have waited to purchase the game now, then I'd have the free shipping (34.95+ 14.95), but since I purchased before, I don't, even though I'm gonna receive both now anyway. That's it? So I AM being 'punished' for having bought it before. I'm disappointed, ok then.

    Thanks

Y'see, I don't understand this position. If you want to pay for the shipping like what was originally agreed, you go right ahead.

As far as I can make out, your gripe is that you bought the game in advance but decided not to play it till you had the Collectors DVD. Surely that's your own silly fault - what difference does download make?!*

*Unless you've got an iffy download speed, o'course, but I think Telltale's business model assumes they are selling to people who can download their games reasonably well.

Yes. This is a rule in life for cars, videogames, DVD-players, blue-ray players, PS3's, X-box'es, VHS'es, DVD-burners, movies etc.

All will eventually drop in price, it's the most expensive if you buy it brand new. Why is that suddenly something new here?
  • You bought the series with the understanding you'd pay only shipping, yes? That still stands. The free shipping offer is very simple. If you buy $50 worth of stuff then you get free shipping. If you like Sam & Max you could preorder season 3 and get ToMI deluxe edition, that would qualify for free shipping.

Everyone here is in the same position, if you really want free shipping order some other items. Telltale give away plenty of free episodes, they're generous enough... think of how many people pre-ordered Tales - if they then had to start shipping out all those DVDs for nothing they'd be spending a fortune!

At least they waited until Sam & Max was announced, a lot of people here would have bought that anyway so to be able to get that and the MI DVD along with free shipping is a nice bonus.
