They are certainly never going to comment on it. Whatever deal there is/will be between the two parties will remain confidential.
Every fiber of my being hope Telltale will be given another opportunity at fleshing out Batman's lore. The S1 ending hurts a lot.
There is so much that needs exploring, like how Joker seemingly knows who and what we are. He wanted to bust us out because he knew we would take care of Lady Arkham, the bastard wanted a clear field.
I keep replaying that scene, the more I see him the more I'm starting to like him as an antagonist. Him being aware that Bruce is Batman only adds to the tension, imagine what he can do with such knowledge.

Please no, Telltale can't write a good Batman story at all as they showed with S1. Its probably their worst game with GoT.. They should focus on making less but better games.
Eh, it wasn't perfect, but I really liked how it turned everything you thought you knew about Batman on it's head, and it definitely had it's moments. Whilst there are other games I think deserve a sequel first, I absolutely would not be disappointed if a Season Two of Batman was announced.
Telltale aren't focused on making the company bigger, or they would have been working hard to make season 2 for batman and TWAU. I'm vetting bored of telltale for lack of follow up and will most likely switch to a main stream portable console for gaming

Yes, of course! I was really impressed with this season, so it gives me more confidence in how they would handle new antagonists like the Joker. I hope they continue with it, because it seems like they laid some more groundwork for a new season, such as the promise you could owe to the Joker.
I'm right there with you. Telltale left so much unexplained in season one it honestly felt more like a meaty set-up for season two.
I'm assuming Joker's "favor" will involve getting rid of someone, or hurting someone he knows Bruce loves. I can easily picture John Doe giving Bruce a RDV at some random amusement park and proceeds to threaten to hurt Selina or Alfred unless he complies. Should the player refuse Joker will inform that person that Bruce refused to ensure his/her safety.
Joker will make us chose between the law and the personnal. He is set on breaking us. He stands for chaos and knows that Batman stands for order and is principled, way too much for his liking.
I can almost see Joker and Bruce having a relationship not too dissimilar from Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick's in "The Cable Guy." Joker could perceive Bruce Wayne as the straight man in his twisted comedy act. He treats Bruce like his best bud, while he conspires to wreck his life at the same time.

Well he already tried to befriend us somehow in episode 4. I would not be surprised if he intents on pulling the same stunt later. A bit undermined by how blatant it is. Maybe Telltale could have been more subtle in depicting Joker trying to get close to Bruce.
Obviously he has a plan of some sort for us, and he will be the only one laughing when we know what it is.

I came across something interesting that could maybe tie in with season 2 : http://i.imgur.com/DKsr14E.jpg
By John Grello.
As far as I can see this is an official concept art.
It looks like at some point the League of Assassins were supposed to make an appearance. That could certainly explain how Vicki got the training and equipment required.
What I find interesting is that it's supposed to be Shado, who, I believe, is mainly associated with Green Arrow. I wonder if she was the original idea for the main villain? And I don't think she's been really involved with the League of Assassins, but then again my comic knowledge is almost non-existent, so what do I know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Besides it really looks like some League of Assassins stuff. I honestly don't think they could go with them as the main villains for season two considering everything that comes with it : Ra's, Talia etc...
It would clutter the narrative. Telltale have already established Joker as the main antagonist for season two. He won't be working alone but nothing on the scale of the league of assassins. Telltale will probably introduce one-two new villains on top of Two-Face (which I believe could return considering his unfinished business with Selina/Catwoman). Vicki while just "presumed" dead will probably stay as such, and Cobblepot is in the can for a long time.
Better to focus on just a few villains but go the extra mile in terms of development. I think Lady Arkham was too hastily put aside. I hope they really flesh out Joker's origins better than they did Lady Arkham's.
Ohh, nice find!

They said it for all their previous gamws though.
Absolutely
I don't remember that.
Regardless, it's a while away. And the last thing we need is a rushed season two. A good script is primarily a matter of time.

Seriously folks I played TWD new frontier and Batman simultaneously, but I had to say that batman deserves a season two
And it should be released ASAP

S2 needs to happen, if only so we can see the outcome of that little favor we owe Joker.

Batman was great...and yes I want a season 2...but I also want Wolf2 and Tales2...oh and for TWD to get back on track...

Thanks, I was looking for Arstation content regarding Batman Telltale so I just entered "batman telltale artstation" on google and ran with it.
Shado is mentioned in this entry :

Damn I'm thinking about this stuff way too hard.
Me. I'd like a season 2
Yes!
