  • that game is still making too much money for them, its fucking insane. idk if most of their DLCs are free but im still seeing people buying that shit. and its online, 3-4 years later shit is still being by a lot of people. shit is insane. that MP, imo is why they arent doing SP DLC.

Why Rockstar? Why? Why can't you realize one? Why? Gosh I hope they still do one. I really want to rob a casino. Or do anything with Trevor.

  • Why? We still have Uncharted The Lost Legacy, The Last of Us 2, Spider-Man, Days Gone, Detroit Become Human, God of War, Crash Bandicoot etc.

I can pretty much wait for Kojima to make this game a masterpiece.

  • man, yall still playing that? lol damn, though i might just go back to it cuz i really dont see any mp out there. OW is fucking boring, BF1 too late now, and the rest are trash. UC 4 is becoming AIDs too.

I swear, the people playing TLoU multiplayer are some of the most immature brats I have ever encountered.

Maybe it's stretching the realm of reality a bit, but it doesn't seem entirely far-fetched.

First thing to note is that when Travis is shot, the blood from his neck goes upward, which would imply the bullet exited upwards, right? Now, I'm no ballistics expert, but I'm pretty sure that when you get shot with a bullet, it goes in a mostly straight line, unless it hits bone. If it hits bone, it'd either cause the bullet to break apart/shatter, or cause it to ricochet in another direction.

So, provided that is accurate, that means there's two possible ways this could have played out for the bullet to go from his gut to his neck:

    1. As described above, the bullet pierces through the bottom of the helicopter, and manages to enter through the bottom of Travis' gut. Bullet keeps going in a straight line, tearing through tissue until it manages to exit upwards out of his neck.

    2. The bullet enters his stomach at an angle, hits the rib cage (or other bone structure), and is deflected upwards and outwards through his neck.

If the bullet had enough stopping power to it, it seems... somewhat plausible. I think. Maybe.

    that makes no sense

I had to get one because I have an expensive crown on a tooth and don't want to damage it. It's been a year and I sleep just fine if I forget to put it in.

    Liar.

  • It's pretty unlikely TLOU2 will be at this year's E3 though.

Yakuza 0 is the best game to come out this year and no one can tell me otherwise. And I'm just watching an LP of it!

What other game let's you dance battle Michael Jackson and hire a chicken as a manager!?

  • I've seen some side story about the MC pretending to be someone's boyfriend.

  • Had a blast seeing Iron Maiden for the first time last night in Newark, NJ. Definitely the best live show I've ever seen, hard to believe these guys are in their 60's and putting on a better and more energetic performance than most people half their age. UP THE IRONS!

Where do you live to be able to go to all these different great rock concerts?! A few weeks ago it was Metallica themselves, and now Iron Maiden?!?

  • First, thanks for watching my videos, I'm looking to get the rest of Guardians up at some point today.

These bands all just happen to be touring at a convenient time for me to be able to attend. I live in northern New Jersey, and along with some great concert venues in the area (MetLife Stadium and Prudential Center, which is where my Metallica and Iron Maiden concerts were at), it's also close to NYC. I saw Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden and Sabaton at the Playstation Theater in April, both of which are NYC, and I'll be seeing Slayer at The Theater at Madison Square Garden next month. Not to mention that I go to school in DC and that has some good local venues as well. One in particular being The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland (only a couple of Metro stops from my school) where I saw Breaking Benjamin in January and Anthrax in April. These bands all just happen to be touring at a convenient time, and this area is generally a high market place for concerts. Along with places like Prudential Center and MSG, you have the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Nassau Coliseum and Jones Beach Theater out on Long Island, PNC Bank Arts Center about 30 minutes south from where I live, and all the theaters and smaller venues in NYC.

    In all honesty, I don't.

The thread got nuked for a good reason. It was getting pretty ugly over there. There weren't that many good arguments, just folks resorting to attacks because so and so internet user couldn't back something up. It's like calling someone a "poo head" because they had a valid criticism against something you politically believe in.

Trust me. It was going nowhere good.

I agree to an extent, but it's not quite that simple. The original politics thread was altogether different from the one that was locked. Originally political/current event posts were still allowed in the rest of telltale talk, so the politics thread was more about debating political theory and specific issues. (Unions, drug war, etc...). Fewer people participated in the thread, which meant it sometimes died for weeks or months before being brought back, but things stayed fairly civil and moderator attention was rarely needed.

Things went bad when it was made a mandatory thread, in the wake of Trump and a bunch of poorly-received threads by a certain former user. The conversation started to be driven more by arguments over the "outrage du jour" rather than actual discussion of political opinions. As it moved further away from politics and toward news, civility and good faith went out the window.

So yeah, I agree that bringing the political thread back in its current form probably isn't a recipe for anything good. But I also don't think the failed experiment with an "official" political thread should mean that no political discourse is worthwhile and that it should all be suppressed. Perhaps it just needs to arranged in a different way, for instance, I don't think having a place for people to outline and discuss their general views would be bad. Or perhaps time is simply needed for the Trump/anti-Trump circlejerk to die down (though I'm skeptical of that one happening).

  • Would you want a separate "Newstand" thread from a general Politics thread? One for discussing world news (including but not only limited to Politics) and another for general/conceptual politics discussion?

Is general/conceptual politics discussion open to have world news including any news here in the U.S? Because I will be civil but if I see something that needs to be debunked like any news that comes off fake or wrong to post.I will talk about it.But I will be civil

Would you want a separate "Newstand" thread from a general Politics thread? One for discussing world news (including but not only limited to Politics) and another for general/conceptual politics discussion?

  • I think it might be a good idea. Maybe a news thread and "political philosophy/debate" thread. You might still need to keep a tight leash on them, but it would keep discussion from being buried in Trump news.

The political philosophy thread would get less traffic but it's a good trade off I think.

  • I don't have a strong opinion because I avoid threads I don't care about, but one thing that should be noted is that this is a gaming forum. There are lots of other places on the Internet where you can discuss politics until your lungs bleed. That's not why most people are here, though.
