(To quote:)
"Heeeeyyyy remember how there was going to be a skeleton crew staying on for a while and I was part of it? Nah, jk, we all just got laid off, too."
So apparently they wont even be finishing the minecraft story?

It's probably finished and that's why they were all fired.
Yeah, considering release is 25th good practice is to have the totally final build ready 20 days prior to release to tidy up stuff. So it unfortunately makes sense.
How would you know the release is the 25th? We know nothing about the project they were working on, and judging from the tweet, they don't seem like they finished the job they were kept on for.
I really don't think it's done. That kinda sucks for me because I wanted to know if they could pull it off.
We tried so hard, and got so far~
Did they at least have a farewell BBQ for the staff, or did they not have enough money to even throw one?
Hey, haven't you learned already. Its Telltale, they don't care shit about their fans and crew.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer...?
If something goes wrong with the forums, there won't be anyone there to fix them anymore. I have the feeling we won't be here much longer.

The current status of the episode, according to the sources, is that “a first round of voice work for the main characters is already recorded and a first review of a playable version is planned for sometime around the end of September”.
Let's also not forget this tweet

I think there was some misunderstanding about my earlier message... There are still good people at the company. MY team is done.
... So I guess there are still some people still working there.
I'm currently in direct contact with two staff members that are still there. I can't comment on how many are still on the skeleton crew, as I don't know the answer, but there definitely are still people there.
Speaking of MCSM. I read somewhere that atleast one of the episodes from Black Mirror season 5 will have 'choice moments' on Netflix.
I'm not sure how I feel about that. Could be cool I guess. I just hope it doesn't become too much of regular thing. If I want to play a game, I'll play a game. If I want to watch a show, I'll watch a show. Don't see a point in mixing them together.
Wait so they're really going to make a Season 5 episode an interactive story?
I heard that Netflix was looking into making a choose-your-own-adventure style Black Mirror experience, but I thought that'd be developed seperatly from the current series...
Hmm sounds like an interesting project to me. Now I'll be able to choose how I want to destroy my own brain! (and knowing B/M, it'll probably be some twisted commentary on choice itself. Oof.)
I believe the music video for the song is the one you're looking for:
Yeah, don't worry. That won't become the norm. It'd cost to many resources for a show with multiple seasons. They can fortunately do it in one-offs, like Black Mirror. It will be interesting how that turns out.
HBO did something similar with Mosaic by Steven Soderbergh, where you could watch the show via an app and decide which character you want to follow. You could switch between characters, too. When they premiered the show on television, they showed a version of the show that was chosen and edited by Steven Soderbergh. It was pretty neat, even though the show itself was only okay.
Netflix already have a interactive puss in boots series so it's not a new concept for them. I'm just worried about whether or not I'm going to be able to watch without Netflix.
BBC also did this back in 2005 with the "Attack of The Graske" episode on the BBC Red Button service, then later on the BBC website. It was in the first-person perspective, where you played a companion of the 10th Doctor. It was a one-off, but it was a pretty fun concept.
Sorry but your wrong about that, have you seen the crazy benefits of working there?
Maybe donating money to Telltale will help them to continue projects (I would REALLY like if Telltale continued MCSM Season 2, or made a season 3).
Yes i have seen. The crazy benefit that you get working there is that you dont get your severance pay.
It is crazy isn't it? You want to know what else is crazy?

^ That is craziness at its peak. The very thought of getting all of those benefits from working at Telltale makes me shudder to my core
EDIT: I apologise if my sarcasm came off as me being a complete and utter dick. In all seriousness though there were plenty of benefits to working at Telltale. If they were stronger financially it would have made things a lot more comfortable and if Telltale had the money they would have to pay the Employees severance pay, but they don't so that is an issue
