It could be worse imo. Ciri is perfect, not sure how to feel about Yen tho.

It's actually from the Polish Netflix Facebook page. He'll be called "Mousesack" in English (translation on point ).

Ok I'll be the first to admit that I am rusty on The Witcher. I have yet to read the books (English translation, which I have heard are not always the best translations out there)
And I haven't played the games, but I'm familiar with them and the lore of the books through research.
Point is, I imagine the best point of reference for the character's appearances would be the games (unless the characters are detailed in the books etc. I don't know) Now Henry Cavill as Geralt... Sure, ok, I guess he works. I would've preferred someone older given that Geralt is older looking and more rugged than Henry.
But the actress they cast as Yennefer? No, no way, she looks way too young and doesn't have that 'fire' in her look like Yen does. Can't comment on any other actors tbh. Ciri's casting is perfect though!
I could be talking nonsense here but could a fan of either The Witcher games or The Witcher/Hexer books give me some insight???
She's a child in the books apparently so it makes sense to cast someone young. Also the creator of the Witcher absolutely hates the games and he's heavily involved with production so I really doubt they'll be drawing from them in any way.
He is no longer involved with the series...he and the producers did not get along...which if you have ever seen how he acts...brilliant writer...asshole in real life.
Actress playing Yen...I am just not feeling her.
I hope Henry Cavill has a sick mustache.

There´s a rumour going around about an animated Diablo series coming to Netflix.

Well I'm sure a lot of people are relieved after the rumor of Ciri being black. I see however that Fringilla is black. Wonder if people are making a big deal out of that. Probably not as she may not be as popular a character.
Personally I believe they changed Fringilla's race due to the back lash changing Ciri was getting. It's a bit annoying cause it's a bit messy lore wise considering Fringilla is Nilfgaardian plus she's Duchess Anna Henrietta's cousin who is Emperor Emhyr's cousin.
