One of my wittiest remarks might have been “do u wanna fish in my rolls of fat to see what you find?”
I’m not fat or anything, but those bots are a blast to play around with
So I just bought a whole bunch of stamps from the U.S. Postal Service on the Internet, which is normal for me. Two minutes later, someone tried to use my credit card number to order $50 worth of pizza from Domino's in another state in a different time zone, which is not at all normal for me, and the bank's fraud computer responded with, "Dude, you're not even trying!" and declined that order. So now they've canceled the card 'til they can get me one with a new number (though I think I still get my stamps), and I'm left wondering if the USPS has been hacked, or if it's just coincidence that fraudsters several states away tried to steal pizza at almost the same time.

I'm a procrastinator too. And that is something that I would've done. I often put really important things off until the last minute and then stress out because I have no time to do it.
Kids, take it from me:
Don't procrastinate. Don't do it.
Don't wait until the 11th hour to write your outline and then a 1/4th of the … morerequired word-amount of the essay and then send in that 1/4th of an essay a minute late, extremely ashamed of your work and of yourself as a person because you just don't know when to buckle down and get work out of the way early so you don't have to do it later.
It's emotionally draining, stressful, and really really unprofessional (if you're in Uni/College like me). Ask a friend to tell you to do your work. Like a lot. Or your parents (even if that's annoying because they do that all the time). And just... do your work. Early. Please.
(Spoiler)
People often say that I look really young for my age. Whenever I meet someone, they think I'm a young teen still in school. Heck, one time a couple of 13 year olds thought that I was their age and were shocked when I told them I was 19.
So, the first time that a stranger actually saw me as a potential adult was when a bunch of teenage girls were asking me to buy cigarettes for them.
I'm only 16 but I feel your pain. One time I went to a museum where the ticket for students cost 15 dollars and the ticket for kids aged 6-12 cost 10 dollars. I told them I was 12 and saved 5 dollars. Pretty much the only time my looks were helpful...

To me there are only two variables worth considering when it comes to the death penalty:
Cost efficiency
Public morale
The problem is the case work and delivery of the death penalty is expensive and since suffering is (ethically and usually) not the focal purpose of capital punishment in developed countries there is little to no message gotten across to potential criminals intending to go down that path (most would probably be broken nihilists who don't fear death anyways). Even if that message was gotten across a public uproar in a developed country would have to be dealt with, and that disturbance probably wouldn't be worth the hassle.
Considering the sociological and economic dynamics involved, it just isn't worth it, though personally I wouldn't shy away from supporting it if it was a sound deterrent.
I am currently in my last year in Secondary School (High School) and I have been tasked by my Social Education teacher to write an Essay reg… morearding a Contemporary Issue of my choosing.
For those who don't know, a contemporary issue can be defined as any event, idea, opinion or topic in a given subject that is relevant to the present day.
I have been brainstorming ideas on what issues I could write about, and the issue I decided to base my essay on is the Death Penalty in America and in other nationalities across the globe. The Death Penalty has not been brought into Ireland which I am thankful for as I oppose it, although there has been some sects that think it should be added in as the punishment would deter any criminal from committing crimes that, if found guilty of, could lead to that punishment.
Since it is something I have been doing some research on over the past couple of days it has been on my mind for quite a bit. The Essay … [view original content]

Totally random question: Is there a way to recommend a thread be closed?
Click "Flag" in the lower left, and type a description that explains why you think it should be closed. Mods can look into it.
