31 hours until the game unlocks for me according to my PS4.
I just hope it's good enough to lift me out of my post Walking Dead sadness I'm sure to be feeling tomorrow.
I have avoided all spoilers, so I'm going in blind.

nah she'd probs still be hella pissed. i know i would be. except she'd be angry for different reasons. the forest fire was probs the last thing she was thinking of in that moment.
Imagine what she felt when her father told her that the woman he kissed was her mother? Maybe she thought, "Oh sh*t, i just burned a forest because i was angry at my father kissing my real mother."
Season 2. It would be kinda silly for season 1 to still be locked after all this time.
Anyway, going to replay Captain Spirit now. I rushed through it a bit the first time around. After that I'll take a nap and then (hopefully) enjoy season 2.
My prob with BTS was that Rachel's mother wanted to see her for so long she even got sober for a year and stopped getting money from James, but then at the end of the last episode she just doesn't want it anymore after Damon drugged her.
By the way, what did Chloe actually tell Rachel at the end of Episode 3 in BTS? I know it's players' choice but i'm thinking maybe she didn't tell her the truth which later on Rachel found out the truth and made their friendship colder and caused Rachel to be drawn closer to Frank. But then how could Frank not know where Rachel was and what happened to her in LIS? Isn't he her BF? or was Frank not serious with Rachel?
I´ve decided for myself to consider BTS to take place in an alternate reality from season 1.
Just to make sense of all the inconsistencies and to make my headcanon fit a little better.

Was BTS Farewell alternate reality too? Because in original LiS, i think Max & Chloe bid goodbye to William before the incident. I can't see any time gap where William would have been there before he went out.

By the way guys, What's the best Chronological order to play this series?
a) BTS Farewell --> BTS --> LiS? or
b) The exact order the Developers made it (LiS --> BTS--> BTS Farewell)
Just finished BTS Farewell, What saddened me was that Max wasn't able to keep her promise of keeping in touch with Chloe. Are there any clues in-game where it explained why Max wasn't able to return texts? Maybe i just missed it.
I usually skip the bonus episode, so I´ve only played it once or twice. Don´t remember it all too clearly.
I guess you could make it fit if the events in Farewell take place after William went to pick up Joyce. Once William left the girls decided to go play upstairs.
Strange that they didn´t start to worry when it took William so long to return, but I dunno. Like I said, that episode is not really fresh in my mind.

For someone who hasn´t played the games yet I would say: LiS -> BTS -> Farewell.
Because Max doesn't know any of the people like Frank, David, Rachel. I think it's best if the player also doesn't have any knowledge of them, and hasn't already formed an opinion about them.
Also Victoria and Nathan are a bit too much of a caricature in BTS. Don't think they transition well from BTS to LiS. They're more comic relief in BTS and it's hard to take them seriously after playing it.
If you've already played the games it doesn't really matter, whatever you feel like playing I guess.

There are no clues in the game really.
Although in the alternate reality where Chloe is in a wheelchair Max did write letters to her.
So you can argue that it was William's death that made it more difficult for Max to stay in touch with Chloe.
Not that Max was that great of friend in the alternate reality either.

yeh it was after william left. chloe originally thought they were back but when she gets downstairs she mentions how it was odd that they still weren't home yet but doesn't get too worried about it. they also explain that they're wearing different clothes from the flashback in LiS if you check the clothes pile because max says they played dressup.

first time i played it the order it was released. second was chronological. i think it had more of an impact if you start with LiS then end with farewell. i don't think it's bias at all because it was still super emotional the second time i played. esp finding all those little things i missed from my first time playing.

Evil bitch? Evil?? Hope you’re being sarcastic. If not i think that is extremely strong to say that. People get on with their lives when they move away from friends, they make new ones and life is busy. Yeah it was shitty of Max to not bother texting back but evil??
i just played Farewell and i think at the beginning of the episode Chloe says her mom is cooking and has the radio on so she wouldn't hear the fireworks from the kitchen. So i think it's in between the game where Chloe's mom and dad left their house.

i agree with playing the game the order they were released. because that's the template of most blockbuster movies and i in this case games have, they start with the tip of the iceberg.

I just watched that bit on youtube and Chloe says her mom is probably cooking with the radio on. So she's just guessing. She must have assumed that William and Joyce had already returned home at that point.

i think it's afternoon. the clock in chloe's room at the start of farewell says 1, and at the end of the episode the clock on the wall is at something like 6:30.
just watched some youtube too and i agree now. the beginning of the Farewell Episode happened right after William left the house. also because of the comment that Chloe says to Max about William's camera.

What bothers me most about the transition from BTS to LiS is that nobody seems to remember Chloe.
Justin only knows her as that punk chick that hung out with Rachel and he doesn´t even remember her name.(in episode 1 atleast) I know he´s a stoner, but still.
Warren doesn´t know her at all while he was standing right next to her in the class photo in BTS.
Strange seeing as Chloe is certainly a person that leaves an impression.

I wanna replay LiS but I don’t wanna re-buy it. Maybe I should rewind?

Which one LiS 1? or LiS 2?
nah she'd probs still be hella pissed. i know i would be. except she'd be angry for different reasons. the forest fire was probs the last thing she was thinking of in that moment.
i think they did fine with 3eps. the whole focus of the story was showing how rachel and chloe became friends.
i'm rly interested to see whether she made a pact with satan at some point in her life or if she was simply born without a soul.
HE SOUNDS AWFUL FAMILIAR TO A CERTAIN SOMEONE.

in BTS, Anyone ever eavesdropped at the room that's past Rachel's at the hospital? the doctor is saying Nathan has some mental problem.

Yeah I listened to the whole convo. I didn’t help him when he got bullied by that guy’s brother because he shoots you in the next game. “TWITCH!”
It can also be Samantha that ends up in that hospital room.

wait what? Samantha can end up in that room? How?
i had no idea. it was nathan in both my playthroughs
gettin her hooked again messed her up but you can still convince her to see rachel.
frank loved her but i don't think rachel was v serious about him. she was in love with jefferson according to the devs.
I believe you have to tell her to help Nathan when she asks Chloe for advice in episode 2 after the scene with Nathan and his dad.
It's usually Nathan for me too. Because I pretty much always tell Samantha to give up on him.

it's strongly hinted throughout the series that max is an evil bitch. which would explain why she didn't return chloe's texts.

maybe the BTS crew didn't research enough and just put in some random assets in the game.
