You know the saying “Take one day at a time”? Well in those prisons we like to call “college” for whatever reason, that’s not an option. You have to take today, Wednesday, Thursday, and all of next week at once.
So I finished the Battlefield 5 singleplayer (or War Stories) because I always like to play these before heading to multiplayer.
The prologue is amazing. Great atmosphere, action, and overall just really well done. A step up from the previous games prologue which I also thought was great.
The voice acting is phenomenal with the standout being the character Billy Bridger who has some great back and forth with another character in the UK War Story. Regardless of the overall quality of these campaigns they usually have some really great voice acting.
The characters themselves are interesting but not fleshed out enough for me to really truly care.
A few really great "epic" moments. An example would be during the final levels of one of the campaigns when the characters are taking their last stand and they begin singing together as they try and fight off reinforcements. Another being the French War Story where early on the characters, attacking a group of Germans, are shocked that they actually managed to take over an outpost and they start celebrating.
The gameplay overall is repetitive and monotonous with levels where you have to go to three different places and blow up some stuff with a couple other levels that take inspiration from multiplayer.
Again like previous Battlefield campaigns it's not outright bad, and just like the previous campaigns there are these sparks of brilliance that is then burdened down by the gameplay and it's terrible enemy AI. If you bought the game and feel like you're on a losing streak I'd say give the campaign a go.

If I do get out to go do something it's usually just me myself and I. Fuck it I'm use to it; at least that's what I keep telling myself.
Tried some everclear for the first time; what I expected, But it all starts to taste like water at some point. I really just need to get rid of the rest. This shit can get you hurt real quick.
