Me talking about lis de again, but after the recent Deck Nine lay offs, it seems the series is kind of screwed, with some saying square have sent out surveys asking about reception to the game and also specifically questions about Deck Nine's involvement. So it seems Deck Nine is on really thin ice and frankly I'm expecting to hear them shutdown pretty soon. If Square decides they aren't going to work with Deck Nine anymore, then its over.
It was interesting reading the thought process behind some of the choices the narrative lead shared in their goodbye tweets, but it also kind of gives an insight of what they were thinking and to me makes it a bit clear how poorly thought out the narrative was.
Apparently they really wanted this game to involve Max being put in the same situation as the first game but purposely choose neither ending choices as a way to "overcome" her trauma or whatever. To me it really comes off as trying to force something to be a certain way instead of realizing what you want to do isn't working.
It goes against the first game's ending themes very purposely. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the execution is very important and this did not have good execution. Not even getting into how they did not understand the storm from the first game, the storm this time isn't even Max's, and it has no build up. It feels like they desperately wanted to get to this point but didn't care how or what it even meant. Max will overcome the storm that isn't even hers!!! Yeah!!! It's like if you wanted the ending to go there, maybe actually lean into it more throughout the entire game?
It would be interesting to hear a behind the scenes on this game. It still blows my mind there was leaks from 2 years ago specifically mentioning the ending was bad and it was. I'd just really like to know the thought process behind the game because I went in with super low expectations honestly expecting it to be pretty bad, but I'm still stuck thinking about how bad it was. Like even with how low my expectations were, I was not expecting the Marvel ending at all lmao
Played a little bit of Helldivers 2. I can definitely see the appeal of the game. The gameplay is pretty fun and seems like a really good time to play with friends.
Then I remembered, I don't have friends, at least none that play. If I ever get some, I'd definitely try again, but for now, I think I'll return it and keep the money for another day.

I haven't played Returnal yet but I heard good things only.
Ohh man, yeah, I really love Returnal. Very very good.
It's one of the other few PS5 games that fully showcase the console's power, the controllers' special features, and the SSD's speed at the best it can.
Also it has Jane Perry from Hitman as the main gal and I really like her.
And I plan to play Astro's Playroom once we hit the new year.
I retract what I said earlier this year about the PS5. Stupid how it took S… moreony 4 years to finally have an actual exclusive worth buying the console for. I haven't played Returnal yet but I heard good things only.
I'll let you know if I ever decide to pick it up again. Honestly, part of the other reason was an emergency came up and needed some extra cash. I saw an opportunity to get the money back from the game since I was still in Steam's return window, so I took it. But I'll probably get it again when I have some extra cash to spend and I'll let you know when that happens
Am friend.
Am willing to play. 👉👈🥹
(Nah but I get it, you probably want a whole squad, and if it's not really your thing solo/with randoms, fair fair.)

Telltale trying to talk up some new investors as they explain why they funded all their money into expanse instead of the thing people actually wanted (they should totally invest)
Does Wolf 2 even exist at this point? What if the official trailer was just a scam?
A game like this should NOT take this long to be made. The Expanse gives me the exact same question as Concord. Why did it need to exist? It was a waste of resources. Where the fuck are your research skills, Telltale?
EDIT: I just deleted Wolf 2 from my wishlist in GGapp. This is no longer funny. Telltale hates us. They don't care about us. You might as well just cancel the game.
One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again - only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.
Not sure why this needed the Until Dawn name at all since it barely resembles the original game outside of the cast being made up of young adults and the countdown to dawn, but honestly I think it looks kinda cool. The time loop and limited lives is an interesting gimmick, makes it seem like a rogue-like lol. I've liked David F. Sandberg's horror stuff so I trust that he'll make a fun movie.
Dana Terrace, the creator of Owl House has unveiled her next animated project. Knights of Guinevere, an adult animated series that will premiere on YouTube later this year in collaboration with Glitch Studios.
There's only like 30 seconds of footage but this already looks pretty interesting! Owl House had some pretty great horror moments so it'll be cool to see an she'll do without the Mouse looking over her shoulder.
Starting my journey down one of the most iconic video games of all time...the Halo series. A couple of hours into Combat Evolved so far. Not much in terms of story so far, but the gameplay is pretty smooth and enjoyable. I am already in love with Cortana, which is good because I hear she is a central character in these games. She's got a bit of a sarcastic bite to her which is appreciated. But maybe I just have a soft spot for AI characters in video games (looking at you EDI and Legion).
This game gave me the same vibes as Tales from the Borderlands. Very likeable characters and not a very long game. It's funny as well. To think this game had a smaller budget, yet had better character design and just a better world than something like Concord. I will never understand why Microsoft closed the studio after this awesome game.
It’s crazy how a smaller budget game can outshine bigger ones with better characters and world-building. Shutting down the studio after such a gem feels like such a waste.

Happy New Year everyone! May this forum escape death for another year 🥳
Same goes for telltale😂

I had the same problem just didn't have friends to play with. Unfortunately I logged too many hours playing on my own and couldn't return it
Hope you're all having a great 2025! Can't believe this website is still here tbh.
Tango Gameworks has officially been rebranded as Tango Gameworks Inc!
And I've just realised they released a Nendoroid of 808 so I'm definitely getting that!
Good to see it gaining traction!
bro that wolf 2 trailer really about to turn 3 years old in just a few weeks
Why are we still here...just to suffer?
The "We got TWAU2 before GTA 6" will never EXIST!!!!
Question is, where is next destination?
Adhoc maybe?
This is the final destination
So no where to escape, just waiting to die
Current state of this place after the game awards
We got Wicked before Wolf 2.
Telltale trying to talk up some new investors as they explain why they funded all their money into expanse instead of the thing people actually wanted (they should totally invest)
we gonna get wolf 2 cancelation announcement before wolf 2
walking into the year of wolf 2 for the 3rd year in a row knowing damn well it aint ever coming out
wolf 2 clocking into telltale hq after expanse bombed
Is there anything we can do to figure out telltale is alive or not?
Maybe we should call the cops.

Here is a full trailer:
WARNING! WARNING! There's gonna be a jumpscare if you open the spoiler tab. Don't say I didn't warn you.
A live-service God of War game was actually supposed to be a thing.

Good fuckin' luck lmao
For some reason, my second or third thought was SpongeBob. And like not even a particularly relevant clip, just a clip that's funny and that's it.
Hi Fi Rush, here I come!
Good for them!
And done!
