I'm fed up with the telltalegames support!
I have a simple problem
>>> I need a manual unlock!
It's been nearly 3 weeks since I had purchased the game, downloaded etc.
I cannot get through to the support at all!
When I did, my request codes were wrong, somehow, upon looking again they were completely different, which I found odd.
So now I'm back to square one, with getting no reply.
and Yes! I've made sure I've had a confirmation e-mail, not that it makes a difference.
You NEED a phoneline! and I NEED help!
A fan none-the-less...

(only kidding!)
When did you send your support email? Right now it takes about a week max for an answer. In most cases of no reply after that, it's a spam filter's fault or something else not letting the reply email get to your inbox.
Plus I live in the UK
I already paid for the game I'm not gonna pay extortionate amounts to get in contact with them!
It's more their problem than mine tbh, it seems the majority of their negative feedback is regarding a lacking support system.
That phone number wouldn't do you much good anyway.
The support system is usually pretty awesome. However, Telltale seems to do way too many things at once right now (S&M 303, Puzzle Agent, BttF, JP, W&G iPad, ToMI PS3) so they're kiiinndaaa busy.
I promise you, as long as your email got to them and their emails get to you, you will get your answer. I am truly sorry that you're having trouble.
Have a nice day.
There is however definitely a problem with receiving some of their e-mails and junk mail filters are not necessarily it.
Last year (I want to say in September, but I'm not positive), after a rash of unreceived support e-mails, Telltale did a test by asking as many people as could to e-mail their support e-mail address with a test problem.
I did it from my two e-mail addresses and, while both of them received the automated reply, only one of them received the personalized one (and I believe that the same problem occurred for a lot of other people).
I had their e-mail address in my safe list and I checked my junk mail folder (which was set on "catch" but not "delete" all junk mail) frequently, but to no avail.
So, I decided to change the e-mail address attached to my Telltale account (it used to be the one that did not get the personalized reply during the test), just to be on the safe side if I should ever need their support.
In the meantime, if you are one of the several people who seem to be having the same problem, my suggestions are:
- Post in this thread, which I'm sure Telltale checks often.
- PM Bonnie (don't abuse this solution as I'm sure Bonnie already receives a lot of PM's as it is, but if your e-mail appears to have been ignored, Bonnie will help you).
- Open a new thread in one of the support forums (which one depends on the nature of your problem) like you did here.
- Get a Hotmail e-mail address (not sure why, but my Hotmail address had no problem getting their personalized reply).
Hope this helps!
... and to NeatNit...
What I meant was that they need a support line specifically for tech problems which would be designed for worldwide use and therefore wouldn't be as expensive as a local area number.
Also, calling a number that isn't there for my certain needs would involve a fair bit extra call time! That would probably result in no help anyway.
But thanks for your help!
The only reason why I'm bringing this up is because I desperately wanted to have the game for when the kids come up for summer for something to do at night together... and they're going in 3 days! Just wanted this done with, HUGELY to stop the pestering :P
So I appreciate the help! Feels less stressful getting some answers!
