Can't Add Deluxe Treasure Chest to Cart

I'm on this page and when I click the button to add the deluxe treasure chest to my cart, the screen just goes dark and it doesn't get added to my cart. Can anyone help, or is this Telltale's subtle way of telling me that they ran out of treasure chests?

edit: It won't add from this page either.

I am having the exact same issue. Tried it in Firefox and Internet Explorer and unable to add the Deluxe.

Chrome also doesn't work. Maybe they're sold out?

Maybe but, if the offer is only good until July 31st, I would still like the option of purchasing the Deluxe Edition for the special price, even if that means it would be backordered.

As a season purchaser, you are able to get the Deluxe Edition for $15. That's why I'm so disappointed that I'm unable to add it to the cart and purchase it at this time.

yeah, but shouldn't it stay like that? as a season purchaser? otherwise they're making you pay for the season again. and that's bullshit.

I purchased the season via the deluxe chest, and, looking in the store, the only price available to me is the full $49.95.

Edit: Also, I just realized that the ToMI chest no longer appears in the ToMI store category.

Tried to order it myself and no go. Is it sold out or can we have this sorted please?

i am in the same situation also, i pre-ordered the game and am now trying to get the physical deluxe set. i was also looking at spending the extra $50 (including comic con sales items) to get free shipping so it would be good if i could get a response/resolution before the end of this month (i will not be ordering anything from the site if i cant get free shipping).

    thanks.

I'm getting the sense that its sold out, but not removed from all the pages:(...
would've been nice if they labelled it sold out instead of not allowing us to buy it.
Any idea whether its worth getting the standard DVD? (I've bought the online versions so standard DVD would be free + shipping)... I currently don't see the point if I don't get bonus goodies (even if i have to pay for them).

It might be sold out at this time, but I doubt that it's permanent.
It's just that the treasure chests have to be assembled by hand and the goodies have to be produced in bigger quantity than the usual Telltale goodies (case files,...), plus they're probably busy with Comic-Con so maybe they're not making the Deluxe Edition available for now in order to avoid a flood of complaints from people when they do not receive their order within a few days (apparently settling instead for a flood of complaints from people simply trying to order the darn thing! ;)).
True, a sold out label might be nice, but for all I know, I'm completely wrong and it's a website bug...
    As for your question:
The Standard DVD might not have any physical goodies, but it has plenty of digital ones, so if audio commentaries, concept art and more (episode trailers, "I Wonder What Happens" shorts,...) are your cup of tea, it would be a nice addition to your (or anyone's) Monkey island collection.

The DVD in the Chest is the standard DVD, just with the slipcase given to preorderers, and a bunch of swag in a cardboard box printed like a treasure chest. The content is identical.

I just want to know if it's permantly sold out or not because if it is, I'll just get a standard.

Your best option at this time: write to support@telltalegames.com.

    ok I got a response,

    This is it:

"We've had some trouble with the Deluxe Edition so we had to take it down from the site. It's out of stock and it's not certain when or if it will return."

Sooooo. I think we are saying goodbye to Deluxe. You can hope and wait for maybe it may come back in the future or you can go for the standart one.

    Already sold out????
That's what you get for supporting TTG and pre-ordering TOMI ages ago and getting the offer to buy it cheap

And why wouldn't the deluxe edition be re-pressed? It's apparently very popular since it's already sold out. Or perhaps TTG aren't interested in making money

First of all, it's not exactly a "re-pressing" problem as the Deluxe Edition DVD is exactly the same as the standard edition.
Secondly, when Telltale's says they don't know if it will return, it also means that they don't know if it won't return. If lots of people show an interest in buying it, there's probably a good chance that it will.
Finally, the Deluxe Edition has been offered for sale since March 11 (the day I placed my order). It might already be sold out (for now?) but it still took over 4 months to sell out (the first threads about the impossibility to order it are about a week old). Telltale possibly expected that anyone who might be interested in the Deluxe Edition would order it early...

I created a poll in the Tales of Monkey Island General Discussion forum to "help" Telltale gauge the interest people have in seeing the Deluxe Edition back in stock.
Farlander (rightfully) suggested that that might not be the best location for the poll as most people are complaining in the Support Forums, so I'm here to post a link to the poll.
    Here it is.

I would definitely order the Deluxe Edition right away if it were available. Same with the Sam & Max Season One feelie pack. O great god Telltale, provider of infinite pleasure, hear our pleas.
