I need help?

I don't know where to post this, but I need help with getting the notebook from Biff Tannen, there are only two more options I can use with him and none them convince him to the book up. Please help me out if you can?

    Try exploring more of the room. If you find your Dad interfering too much with your plans, see if you get him to leave you be.

    1.What did that have to do with getting the notebook?
