Episode 2 Launcher Plays Episode 1?

Do you have to have a completed Episode 1 save game to play Episode 2? I uninstalled the first episode after completing it to save space, both episodes are now reinstalled on my computer.

    click on the icon for episode 2 within the launcher and click play?


    This is a wild guess as someone who does not own this game.
