    Still no store credit

I've sent a few PM's over the past two weeks and I haven't received my refund yet. :(

Maybe its time for them to use a different server for their email. Because, as you see, I can't be the only one who hardly receives emails from TT.

I'm a Telltale Newsletter subscriber, and get nowt. I only get order confirmations and when new episodes are available, albeit delayed.

I'm still waiting for my voucher code, but as I said, its no big deal - TT prices are cheap, so I'll just order again.

I've been checking my spam folder too by the way. Nothing in there but my Nigerian Uncle's Will.

No store credit/voucher for me either

I ended up e-mailing TellTale customer service from the site, and got my voucher finally within a couple days. Maybe you guys should try the same.

I just tried this and was able to get my refund. Thanks for letting us know!

I do have a question for everyone else though, do you still see Jurassic Park in your past purchases? Mine has now disappeared after getting my refund. Does this mean I need to re-order the game and use the voucher? Or are we supposed to still get Jurassic Park, our money back, and voucher for another free game?

EDIT: Looks like the answer was posted here: http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24408

I did three times, even as a PM.

    Here's an idea for TT:

Offer an online ticket system where email is redundant (except for tickety update notifications). Then everything will be done online, and won't get lost.

Just emailed customer support; this is getting a bit ridiculous now.

Not had an update posted to this thread in ages, pming Amy as she suggested seems to of got no-one anywhere and there's still clearly a lot of people missing one or both of the refund and voucher.

Still awaiting my voucher here, got the refund fairly early on.
TBH I wouldn't be too sore about not getting a voucher but It would be nice seeing as how others are getting theirs.

I would've even been fine with them delaying the game and not giving us anything, since TellTale makes good products and offers great deals (people who preordered BTTF were given an 80% off coupon code).

It's just the principle that they made the promise about giving everyone refunds and vouchers and haven't been able to handle it, in what most people would consider a timely fashion, that bothered me. Even then, I would think people would be more understanding if we could simply receive some consistent updates. :(

I would have prefered to not get a refund cause I'm getting the game delay or not. As of right now I have the free coupon. So in other words I'm still paying for jurassic park because I haven't gotten my store credit yet.

    Hi,

I know I am little late, -I am soooo lazy- but I have also got no voucher so far. But thumbs up for the fast refund :)
  • edited June 2011
still no voucher code for me. telltale is sleeping..
    :-( :-( :-(
  • edited June 2011
I've kinda given up on the refund. Doesn't really matter. I got the voucher, so I can get the JP game, which I bought in the first place, when it's released, so the situation doesn't really change.

Of course, it kinda sucks that other people DID get a refund and are now basically getting that game for free ;) But who knows, that refund might still find its way to me as well. I'm just not looking out for it anymore.

My email provider went a bit weird this week due to server down time; but emailing customer support worked.
Got my missing voucher code same day as I emailed them.

I'd STRONGLY advise anyone still waiting to go email them:
    support@telltalegames.com

Just make it clear what you are emailing about (Jurassic Park Refund and Voucher)
    Which bit(s) you are missing.
And steps you have taken already eg posting here, pming amy, checking spam mail.

    Yeah! Party!
I have the voucher. PM to Amy worked.
  • edited June 2011
I know this is probably a stupid question but i'm wondering if i can use my voucher for the console version?
  • edited June 2011

  • edited June 2011
    I haven't gotten a gift code yet.

Just making sure I didn't get forgotten :\
  • edited June 2011
Still without a code as well...

This lack of communications is quite alarming!
  • edited June 2011
I sent a PM to Amy as well like a week ago.
I have gotten the payment to my paypal account almost instantly.
But no voucher for me yet :(
  • edited July 2011
    No voucher here
  • edited July 2011
Posting here since my PM has gone unanswered for a few days now. Still have not received my refund. Last I heard from Amy you guys were just going to send a check. Still not received. Been over a month and I'm in Socal so I'm worried. Any help? Thank you.

Seriously go to the contact page and email tech support; everyone I know who did that got sorted out like within a day or two.
  • edited July 2011
    @ emo hoe:
I tried contacting tech support for many weeks and never received a single answer, except for the automatic reply!

I have the voucher now... but I didn`t get it through tech support.
ok, maybe something is wrong with my email account, but there never were problems before and after.

Usually I don`t continue to buy stuff from companies that totally ignore my feedback.
    Leaves a bad impression.

    i didnt get one either...

Think its fairly safe to say people having issues with tech support aren't wording them emails good; knowing people who've worked in that kinda job if the subject line and the email are hard to read or ramble around they get automated replies mistakenly.
    When I emailed I wrote:
    Subject:
    Jurassic Park Refunds and Vouchers
    Message:
It's been two months now since the Jurassic Park refund and voucher was initiated and I am a bit concerned as despite received the refund promptly and following the forum thread on updates to the refunds, checking my spam mail and PMing via the forums as suggested I have still not received the voucher code promised.

Keep it concise and to the point; but get all the info in there. In addition make sure you use the right words namely REFUND and VOUCHER, that's how they termed it so talking about store credit or w/e is likely to confuse matters. Also make sure you show you have done leg work, eg mention checking the forum, pming amy and checking spam email if you don't you may get fobbed off as having missed an obvious step and people tend to want to help more if you have clearly taken steps to help yourself. Same with tone be polite not rude, being polite is more likely to illicit a helpful response.

I got a short email back within hours that said this is your voucher code and so did many others I know who used that route.

I did the same some time ago (with almost the same subject and message), but no answer to date.
But I have already given up on getting the voucher. If it drops in my mailbox fine, if not .. so be it :)

I got my refund a while ago now but, just like many others, still no voucher. Maybe Telltale has given up but I hope not.
  • edited July 2011
    @ Emo Hoe:
ok, you could be right! your help is appreciated. :-)
  • edited July 2011
Thanks Emo Hoe! I sent a similar message and Ferenc arrenged the refund!

Now I'm looking forward to some new interesting releases to spend it on ;)

It actually worked! I got an email with the code the very next day. Recommended to all those who have yet to get a refund or a voucher, please email Telltale Support.

Waiting on here with a reply no longer does any good, and Amy is MIA from threads and PM.

I got your given information on the processing of Jurassic parkd refunds. Its nice that you are handling each one of these. Now, I am waiting for your mail with your gift code. I wanted to tell that i have not received a refund yet and also emial.

Can we use our free game promo code that we got with our Jurassic Park refund...for Jurassic park when it comes out in Nov. then? I don't remember seeing any small print that said you couldn't. Has anyone already asked this? Just checking.

Thank you for everything you do!!!
