Almost Everything pack/steam code

This is more a quality of life question; recently purchased the above mentioned almost everything pack, (awesome deal btw, thanks :)...and everything listed is there for me to download, no problem.

Was curious if there's anyway I can link these games to my steam account? Instead of just having them float around on my hard drive..

Just curious, thanks! :)

    Unfortunately, no.
You can add them to your Steam library as non-Steam games, but that's it.

you do not have to keep them on your hard drive either you can always log in here and reload them.

I really wish I knew why that had to be the case. I bought Tales of Monkey Island on this site when it first came out, and I'd love to have it linked to my Steam account... It took me several days before I could even remember what email I'd used to create my Telltale account just to be able to get ToMI again.

It's just so much more convenient to be able to download from Steam's servers and always have it in my library instead of needing to go to other sites, especially if the game is already on Steam. It doesn't actually cost the developer anything to give out Steam keys, unless they have a special deal with Steam to make this happen.

Linking games to Steam as non-steam games is often a lesson in frustration for me. Not sure why it happens but every once in a while Steam will delete all my special categories and shortcut links.

I think that must be some kind of an agreement they had to come to with Valve, seems logical in a bussiness perspective...But Telltale offers you free Collector DVDs with bonuses for the games you bought, which I think is awesome...

Thats why I only gonna buy TTG from here now. Don't like steam anyway.

Well, that solves 1 question i had about being able to activate these games on steam... but the next question would be if i already own some of the games of this bundle, can i give the serials to a friend so she can activate them for herself? or are they account locked?

The games in the Almost Everything pack are for PC/Mac only (except Sam & Max season one, which is PC only).
