Walking Dead crash on Ipad 2

Bought in Apple App store. Fresh IOS 6 on IPAD2.

First a black screen then it crashes back to OS.

Tried reinstalling several times.

Anyone ideas?

    Please shutdown any applications you are not using that are running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. Also, please restart the device before attempting to launch the game again.

    All apps closed and restarted device. Same problem unfortunatly :(

    A lot of people have the same problem, and your suggestion does not work. So please don't copy and past your suggestion to everyone because we know that not a solution. We need an update to fix this for ipad users, I feel that being cheated by purchasing a game that doesn't work.

    Are you also running iOS 6.0? Did the game crash for you before you upgraded to iOS 6?

    It was running in ios 6 before I bought the second episode, at that time it always start crushing after I lunch the game and gives me black screen then return to home screen. I tried to reinstall it many times and tried your way but nothing works so far.

    By the way, my ipad 3 is 64g which is has room more than enough to run the game !!

    I have EXACTLY the same problem on my iPad 4, has anyone found a solution yet? Even after the latest update it won't get further than the title screen.

    Have tried everything suggested on this forum from deleting and redownloading the app, to restoring my iPad, without success.

    I've downloaded hundreds of apps and have not once had the misfortune to come across one that doesn't even start. Just my luck that the first time it happens is to the game I want to play the most...just as episode 5 hits!

    Am seriously considering picking up the season pass in the steam sale but the convenience of playing Telltale games on a tablet was one of the reasons I actually bought an iPad in the first place.

    Come on Telltale, just a hint that you're aware of this issue and are working to fix it would be enough for me to resist the PC version a little longer.

    Please try uninstalling the game and then resintalling it through the iTunes store. Also, shut down any programs that are not being used that are running in the background.

    Hi,

    I can't launch WD on my ipad 3 though I could a while ago (before buying episode 2).

    I tried to reinstall the game from itunes on my ipad, I stopped all applications and restarted the ipad (i got more than 2gb of free space)... all i get when i launch is a request to put my itunes password and nothing shows up in the end..

    After a week of struggle I found a solution:
    Switch time to 24 hour format. Reinstall the app from Itunes and done!
