WALKING DEAD EP4 Game Save Glitches

I've been researching the forums to see if any other posts were similar in problems. I thought it would be best to give a detailed summary of my situation:

I had 3 Xbox saves: Slot 1 has a game where Ep1 was almost completed, Slot 2 had a completed episode 3, and slot 3 has a completed episode 2.

I downloaded episode 4 on the afternoon it was released. I opened slot 2 and played about 10 minutes into episode 4 when I had missed answering a question for Clementine. I PROPERLY quit the game by making sure it was not autosaving and chose to return to the main menu. Upon loading the game again, it started me back at the beginning of Episode 1. Frustrated, I played through most of episode one, but got tired and haven't played since.

I just logged back in and whenever I choose my save slot 2, it restarts me back to the beginning of episode 1. My save slot one loads fine, but am scared to see what happens if I try and load my save slot 3. My 1 achievement from episode 4 popped but also is not registering in terms of points.

I've been super patient with TellTale. I was disappointed (but understood their perspective) regarding their "bent" promises of release dates, etc. However, I really do not want to spend 6+ hours playing a game, attempting to make identical choices.

If anyone can help with this problem, I would very much appreciate it. If my save can't be saved (pun intended), I would very much like to request a refund from TellTale of the Microsoft points I spent on the series.

    I know that there is a glitch where other save slots are being loaded. however, I have my 3 save slots filled. 1 has a game that loads correctly at the end of ep1, 2 is the one that always restarts to the beginning of ep1 after I exit, and 3 which i am scared to load, but does read the end of episode 2 (which should be correct) SO I do not believe that my save 2 slot (which i played ep4 on) is loading another slot. Pleas help, Telltale.

    I apologize for the problem you are experiencing. Please try logging out and back into your account while in the game's Main menu. Try loading your slot 2 save again. If it still loads to Episode 1, then it's more than likely this slot has been overwritten. You can start Episode 4 again with random choices if you do not want to replay the prior episodes to set your choices.

    We have confirmed with Microsoft that achievements are crediting properly on Xbox Live, so please recover your gamertag and then you should be able to obtain all Episode 4 achievements.

    Well i did that already(recovered my gamertag even tho it was already on my xbox)but still i dont have the achievements for episode 4 and i have the same glitch alot of people are having,where it only lets me pick one of the save files. No matter which one i click it just goes back to the second save file.which is my friends story, i would really appreciate it if you and your team would put out a update possibly with ep5 to fix this,i would hate for my money to go to waste and me having to buy the disc when its released to finish the game, thank you.

    Yep, twice now I've gone to continue my episode 4 and the game took me back to the start of episode 1, and had deleted all my progress in episodes 2,3 and 4.

    There have been reports from users that if your Episode 4 (or otherwise) save loads to Episode 1, copy your save from slot 1 to slot 3 and then select your slot 1 save and launch Episode 4. This should load your save game. Since we have not been able to recreate this issue locally, we can't be certain this will work, but other users have stated it does.

    We are still investigating this problem and hoping to release a patch in the future.

    All I hope for is that there will be a patch or something to fix this problem soon.
    I want to be able to play episode 5 without dealing with this.

    Every time I try to start any chapter on my save game, it starts at the beginning of Episode 1. I really don't want to have to play the entire thing again. When do we think this will be resolved?

    We are aware of this issue and currently working on a solution. We hope to have a patch to submit to Microsoft soon. We do apologize for the problem you are experiencing.
