Save file deleted when loading Episode 4

Like many, many others, I played the first three episodes and then bought Ep 4. After downloading, I fired it up and, voila, I'm back at the start of Episode 1. I only had the one save file and was saving to my memory stick. I tried deleting Ep 4 and redownloading, logging out and back in, as suggested by Telltale, and nothhing works.

I really don't want to play 3 episodes again, making the same decisions, just to get to where I was. I suppose I could start over and make new choices, but I wanted to finish out the game first.

This sucks and, based in what I'm reading here, I'm not expecting much help.

The least ey could do is refund us or create an interface that allows us to tick off the "choices" we made and then boot up Ep,4 with those choices loaded.

    Btw, there was no way to go back to Ep 4. I had one save slot and it's now stuck at Ep 1.

    When I go to the various episodes at the title screen and try to look at my choices for later episodes, they're all blank.

    When this occurred, did your save slot say Episode 3? Did it automatically load to this save or was another slot highlighted? If you start your game now, which slot is highlighted? If you try to start Episode 4 on this or another save slot, does it load Episode 4 or Episode 1?

    Any detail you can give can help us resolve this issue, however you may be experiencing the problem outlined in the sticky thread here. Please see if the workaround fixes your problem.

    I am sorry, but it seems like you never heard about this problem. A little strange, cause your forum is full of gamers with the same problem.

    I don't know, but I get the feeling, that this problem will stay forever.

    Listen MattP: Me and many other gamers will not buy the last episode, if you will not fix this problem really soon. It can't be, that this problem exist since weeks and you still talking like the gamers are the mistakes.

    Do something or you will lose many gamers and customer (and I will be one of them) or is it that what you want?

    Btw: the manual how we should resolve this problem doesn't work. I tried it many times. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. I am not stupid and always exited the game from the main menu, but my save get always lost. I am tired of starting the episode again and again. (I don't want to hear Lee screaming "Everybody, Run").
