Walking Dead Episode 4 not running

I started playing episode 4 and it crashed and now won't load anything. Just goes to a black screen. It was on my saved game so I can't just begin episode 4. I tried deleting and installing it again, but it does the same thing. Just goes to a black screen after I hit play. Pleas help. I love this game and want to not start all the way at the beginning.

    If you try to launch the game from an empty slot, does it work with any and all episodes?

    Yeah it plays on an empty slot. My saved game is trash now isn't it?

    This does imply that the prefs file may have been corrupted. Though uncommon, it is possible for this to occur if you experience a crash. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.
