Since finding Pistalibre's Journal I can't be in the jungle without the journal being up on (and obscuring most of) the screen. If I leave the jungle it will disappear but as soon as I renter it pops back up. How can I get the thing off my screen so I can finish playing the game? I assume it is a bug?

    There should be an 'X' to close the journal. If not, click on the background edge outside of the journal to minimize it.

    Nope, there's no X to close the journal & tapping the screen around the journal moves Guybrush around, doesn't close the journal at all, hun unh. Try again pls.

    You can try loading a save prior to finding the journal and see if this issue occurs again. I do apologize if this does not fix the problem.

    Yup that doesn't work either, every time I go to pick up the journal I get "stuck" with it

    Can you please post a screenshot of the journal when it is stuck on the screen? Thank you.

    I don't know how to do that on an iPad but never mind because I just completed the game without picking up the journal, a workaround

    If you press the Home and power button at the same time, the device will take a screenshot.

    Same problem here - cannot get rid of the journal. It looks exactly the same all the time since tapping on it, but it stays on the screen regardless of where one goes in the jungle.
    Is there a fix?

    Is this what can I expect from Telltale? No updates, no answer...
    I've got Jurassic Park, Monkey Island and Sam and Max. No more games from such good for nothing... and this is what an iOS developer say from you.

    After some further investigation it appears that the journal will remain indefinitely if after selecting it, you select the blue 'Return to Jungle Entrance' icon on the bottom left of the screen.

    If this occurs, select the Gear icon to return to the Main menu and reload a save prior to finding Pistalibre's Journal.

    I tested this on an ipad we have that owns the game and this resolved the issue. However, you may not have a prior save available, in which case you would need to restart the episode.

    I have a lot of save games, before the jungle and after and none of them works.
    The truth is this game needs an update but it is an update Tell Tale is not going to launch ever. They are far more busy trying to make more an more money with their new alpha and beta games (like The wolf among us) that they will never update to a final and working version...
