Ep 4 wont play after dl'ing ep 5

Hey so this is kind of an annoying issue.

I have 2 save slots my game (slot 1) and my friends game (slot 3) we are both playing the game VERY differently and I always put the saves as far away from eachother as i can after a few bad Final Fantasy moments when I was a kid. So now I downloaded ep 5 and noticed in the "previously on walking dead" that my choices were off and the beginning of the ep many characters i saved were dead. I reloaded it a few times and noticed the same and eventually said screw it and just tried to replay ep 4 and make the same choices, and now ep 4 wont play. All I see is a blank screen and hear forest noises.

I tried your "copy the data to slot 3" solution but obviously do not want to overwrite my friends game so i did it with slot 2 and it wont work, so now I seem to have lost all my ep 4 data and cannot replay it. Either somehow recovering the data or just allowing me to play ep 4 will help.

ps game is awesome and I really want to see how my choices play out

Please try loading your Ep 4 save and then use the Rewind menu to rewind to the beginning of the Episode.

The rewind idea worked on my friends game (save slot 3) however mine will not even play episode 4 now. Blank screen.

I actually have this EXACT same problem. All of it. My game's in 1. Friend's is in 3 to avoid accidents. I played through ep 5 and finished the game with no issues (a miracle). Tried to do the same with my friend's save in slot 3, wrong choices. Went back to try to get 4 to properly load up the choices, black screen with noises in the background.

Only difference is I also have another game already in slot 2 so I can't try moving the game save to another slot. I also didn't GET the rewind option on ep 4. Only start, as in for the first time even though he already played through it to the end (had that problem with every ep since 2 though, so used to it).
