EP 5 Kills Save - Massive FAIL

I am so very, very upset. Up until now this has been a wonderful gaming experience. I've thoroughly enjoyed it but...

Just purchased EP 5, and as many others have commented....

It starts back at EP 1 after loading the save.

Mind you ... everything went perfectly fine. Loaded the game, chose the save which read "Chapter 4". The chapters came up and zoomed to #5 - hit start and then.... BACK TO 1.

I paused, exited out, went back in... still EP1. Went to EP5. I get the message (do you want to randomly generate responses...) OF COURSE NOT!

I wish I had written down my decisions at the end of each episode so IF I played again I could get back to where I was.... but I'm not the type who replays games. It took me 12 hours to get to where I was. I do not want to repeat it. I feel like I just threw $25 in the toilet :( :( :(

    We need a fix for this save file mess. They know about it and now we are on Episode 5 with still no fix. I am very tired of dealing with this.

    We have submitted a patch to Microsoft to fix this issue. Hopefully this patch will be approved soon and then distributed automatically when the game is launched while on Xbox Live.

    It happened to me too now....so hope it get fixed very soon...

    I just downloaded Ep. 5 and went in to play it, but it also started me at Chapter 1. Thinking it was just an innocent bug I backed out to load my save again, but it was now for Ep. 1!!! I don't have the option to rewind any of the episodes I've already played and I'm certainly not just randomly generating decisions as how am I supposed to feel invest in characters with randomly generated history.

    I was really looking forward to closing out this game and loved every bit of it, but I have no desire to play Ep. 1-4 again knowing I could lose all my progress again.

    Will this submitted Title Update restore our saves or will it just supposedly stop it from happening again? You can count on losing my business for season 2 which until 10 minutes ago I was already anticipated for.
