2 days after sending the e-mail and no codes... Has anyone ever received? Only Telltale to have a problem and the solution to become another.

dude, please, help me, they answered me and said it was incomplete. Please tell me what information you put in the email.
  • edited January 2013
They just said it was incomplete but didn't tell you what was missing?
  • edited January 2013
"however I am unable to process your claim without the word document containing additional information. If you are in need of this word document it can be found here" - That's what they said.

It's the same file MattP post here to send them an e-mail with photos. :S

I got the game for Christmas so I don't have a receipt.

I have tried to ask them what to do about that but so far they have ignored me.

    So much for customer service.

Can you please send me the codes. I have sent the email with the necessary information
  • edited January 2013
I'm hoping the solution, but it is taking longer than the problem.
  • edited January 2013
I think I'll never get the codes that I paid!

    @KenAK96
Please stop opening new threads about the same topic. I merged your threads into this one.
  • edited January 2013
If your customer service was better, maybe people would stop opening threads over the same topic, because they'd actually get answers to their questions.

What codes are people talking about?

when did you send them the email? i sent mine last night and have yet to receive anything. I haven't seen anyone say they have received the codes, and it fixed the problem. I am starting to think this code shit isn't a real solution, but in fact a stalling method that TT is using
  • edited January 2013
can someone who has actually received these codes from TT respond and let me know how long you waited and if they worked once you got them

    Thank you

I'll have to wait 3 months to play after buying this shit? This is not a pre-order, dammit!

They are too busy to solve the the shit they did. Still do not believe it all. Honestly, Telltale should be processed because of all this!

4 weeks..... to send an email back..... WOW

That is pretty pathetic. TTG has the single worst service, that's right guys, you unfortunetly just passed up EA for suckiest support evar.

So my nephew, who has Downs syndrome and doesnt understand incompetence and greed, has to wait up to 4 weeks to play his birthday gift? I am astounded by this issue, between the sheer volume of games already paid for that don't work, and the fact that you can't get a refund or exchange where I purchased the game, the customer (who is supposedly always right) gets taken advantage of. I sent my email 1 week ago today, and I've received nothing. The responses from this company are a joke, and the only way we can make sure this doesnt happen again is to not ever spend another dime on anything they make.
  • edited January 2013
They put on the form that the delay may be 4 weeks just to not have to worry about this problem for 4 weeks.

After all that has happened, they should be dedicating themselves more to this problem, I thought they were going to do that, but no, they got worse service.

I've had enough of waiting, and now I accepted that the code will not arrive. But I learned something from it, I learned that Telltale is worse than companies that launch a game and next day a DLC, I learned that instead of asking for more money as these companies do, Telltale robs you!

And good enough! Never buy anything from this company! I'm sick of it!

Hi! I submitted for my codes for the 4g XBOX 360 hitching last wednesday and I have heard nothing! Any help! I had to wait forever for the game and now I am waiting for the codes for the live version. HELP!
  • edited January 2013
I have been waiting nearly a week too and I am frustrated. Heard anything???
  • edited January 2013
I just had the same stupid problem with the retail disc happen when I bought the game today. I attached the photos they wanted but instead of downloading the form I just entered all the info they wanted in to my email, so I am probably going to get a disappointing email back from them.
  • edited January 2013
I am really frustrated. I submitted for the codes for this game weeks ago since my version was hitching on my 4g xbox. I waited FOREVER to get the game in the first place and now I am waiting on this. Can anyone help? Telltale never emails me back and no one seems to help.

Your frustration is understandable. However, the claim form states that it can take up to four weeks to process your claim from the time Telltale receives your completed and valid redemption form and documents.
  • edited January 2013
At this point I would prefer a refund.
  • edited January 2013
However nothing. 4 weeks is absurd, and frustration doesn't begin to describe this situation. What other company has ever put out a product that failed on such a grand scale, yet continues to tout the product without any consumer warning, THEN barely acknowledges the mistake!!!! The, after we jump through all their hoops to get the problem fixed, they tell us 4 WEEKS before we receive any sort of fix. If you count preorder time, that's 4 months for some of us. And worst part is we have no recourse, I bought my copy at GameStop, which will not give you an exact replacement of what you bought, WHICH IS ANOTHER DEFECTIVE COPY OF THIS GAME!!!!! Great job Telltale, way to really stand behind your product and put the customer first.
  • edited January 2013
I mean, a responsible company at least sends an auto-email back when you submit a claim and lets you know they received it and reiterates a time frame. I am concerned since I have not even had a "hey we received this and we are working on it" email. You think that would have been smart and good customer service???
We are all being treated like we are out of line for being frustrated and concerned, but the reality is that if you had issued me an immediate refund and forwarded me to purchasing it on xbox live, I would have done it. Now I am not going to purchase any products from this company again. You guys should fire your who marketing team, this is pathetic.
  • edited January 2013
4 weeks is insane. Does your company realize what people actually accomplish in 4 weeks? I'm sure like everyone else I actually accomplish quite a bit at work in a month yet you guys cannot even manage to respond to an email addressing a massive mistake your "company" made. Do everyone a favour and next time you are about to release a game, don't.
  • edited January 2013
    how long did you wait?
  • edited January 2013
This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! This should never take this long to get the codes!!! I have been waiting for 2 weeks now. I have been wanting to play the game so bad! I am super pissed!!! This sucks!!!
