Episode 3 Doesn't Work

I bought the Xbox 360 version of The Walking Dead off the xbox marketplace. I finished episodes 1 AND 2, so I bought episode 3, and it won't let me play episode 3. Can you guys please look at this and fix it.

:mad:I have a similar issue with Episode 3 on the xbox 360. I bought the Episode 3 from the main menu's DLC option and when it finished downloading, I tried playing it but the game reverted me back to Episode 1. I've tried restarting my xbox and the game several times. Quite frankly, I'm pissed. What am I supposed to do?

Check the ultimate fix thread ;-)

Same thing happening to me. I looked at the ultimate fix thread and I am not about to replay the game and delete and move stuff on my hard drive. The title update does not fix this issue.

This game has wiped my save data and that is unacceptable. I would like to know the steps to take to get my money fully refunded.

Having the same problem. Absolute nightmare.

It seems to be an issue between Eps 2 and 3. I have played though 2 (3 times now!!!) and when I go to play 3 it loads up 1. The first time this happened I went back into game select and it had wiped the progress of 2, stats an' all!!! I reinstalled 3 and went for a second playthrough of 2. Finished it, when to start 3 and the same thing again. This time rather than going back to main menu I exited the game completly. On restarting I noticed it had saved eps 2 stats, but not gameplay (no rewind function). Thought I was being stupid and played it again...no difference. Episode 1 holds fine, stats and gameplay. Episode 2 now requires another playthrough and episode 3 won't start. Incidently, I have the final 2 chapters and on selecting them it offers up the choice to randomise decisions. Don't want to go there as I would like to play 3. This has been going on for 2 days now.

This needs to be fixed ASAP....I'll allow one more go, after that I want my money back.

So having checked the link to the thread, followed the steps, I deleted all the episodes n even my game save which apparently u can back up but I wanted to wipe ALL previous data, downloaded eps again 1 by 1 from the "market" NOT in downloadable content in the game, all in order I. E. 1, 2, 3, 4 n lastly 5... I then launched the game for the first time since redownloading. I was waiting for a prompt for an update but didn't see one! So I raged (lol) quit the game n went to look on my hard drive cos I was gonna try it 1 more time... however this time there is a file that's 15mb called "the walking dead title update" which was definitely NOT there before. So apparently it updated without prompting me when I launched the game.

Soooooooo hopefully now I can play the game without getting sent to episode 1 when trying to play episode 3. Fingers crossed that all the glitches have been sorted :)

The new Title Update will be stored visibly due to its size, however you still should have been prompted for this update. What region are you in?
